Going by the price history of the previous 2 Wolfenstein games (and Doom, I think) this will be available on the cheap, through legit means, soon enough. (I've seen Wolf go for about £9 in PSN sales and the expansion for about £5, maybe even less than that.) So y'know, makes pirating it seem that much worse than usual.

But, I haven't pirated it :slol:

I was just making a point about having zero problems with pirating games when I do the same for movies and tv shows and many of those who download movies and tv shows but then try and berate you for doing so with games are just strawberry floating hypocrites.

I had seen New Order was £3-4 a few weeks back on CDkeys then when I wanted to get it during the week it wasn't there and they only had the new one up for sale. Didn't want to pay the £15 on Steam for something I've seen at such a low price elsewhere but did get it as soon as it was back to being available on CDkeys before Brer posted that.

I know you're joking, but for video game publishers isn't the first few weeks of sales a huge deal?

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Yes, but I think that's primarily down to pricing. Less and less people are willing to pay full price when it's the not the hottest new thing anymore.

I think it'll do just fine, though. The only platform it isn't out on is the only one Mario is, so it's not entirely a "one or the other" situation.

I saw the Collector's Edition today in-person. If you're a fan of 60s Action Man, it's really amazing. Truly fantastic.

It's behind a massive cardboard sleeve though, designed to look like a humongous PS4 game box.

For £60 I think it's great value.

Yeah sorry Brer didn't mean you specifically. I'll get the new game but won't be for a while I have more than enough to see me through into the new year and that includes my New Order play through. I'm a cynical bastard who probably comes across like a right banana splits the majority of the time :datass:

Alright, I'm out for the time being. I'm pretty sure my strawberry floating youtube homepage just spoiled a returning character of sorts. Going dark until I can get my hands on it.

This is one of the only games where the platinum and a load of other trophies show as not been got by anyone yet!

I am really enjoying this game. It's the small touches that make it. The trial is strawberry floated up.

I know this is coming out on Switch but have they said if they are bringing the first one to Switch as well?

Is the first game worth getting and playing from a single player perspective?

Not really played many fps that aren’t open world for years but this looks like a lot of fun but wondering if i’ll be missing out by skipping the previous game.

Online fps aren’t my thing. I enjoy narrative focused games in general and liking the setting of this game from the trailers i’ve seen.

I would definitely recommend playing the first, not only because the story carries on from there, but because it's a damn good game in it's own right. Should be able to find a copy reasonably cheap as well.

Though this one does start with a recap to get you up to speed, you'll have a much better idea of what's happening if you've played New Order first. I've never finished The Old Blood but I don't think that has any impact.

Same price on PSN right now, as part of the Halloween sale.

Ta for the early heads up on that!

:fp: YouTube. Glad I only watched the odd trailer and that most of those were via Twitter video clips.

Still not started on this because of SP: TFBW but should be done with that come tomorrow.

An annoying loading bug is really stopping me from properly getting stuck into this at the moment. Anyone else suffering from similar issues on PC?

The only loading issue I had was with an auto save saving as I fell to my death, after the second time I died falling to my death after loading the save it then took me to a list of saves, I lost a little progress but barely even a minutes worth.

I finished the main story, the end of the Orion section was an eye full.

I really enjoyed Blazkowicz story,
the fact that the game gives the impression he kills his dad only for him to turn up alive and for him to give up his son to the Nazis.
