Was a little disturbing and unsettling wasn't it.

How so? It's just sad.

The game is a real triumph for Machine Games. They've taken the DOOM shooter genre and managed to make it relevant again.

I think the thing that really holds it together is the story and atmosphere. It manages to capture that action movie hero feel without feeling ridiculous and manages to make you care about the characters. Excellent stuff.

I'd say it's given me hope for DOOM 4, but let's face it - ID probably don't have what it takes.

The torture of the lad and his brain being sucked out. :dread:

Thought that was disturbing tbh.

Oh yeah, that was pretty terrible, but not really what I meant by the ending. That was like a good 20 minutes from the credits rolling. I think Ramona's diary was pretty damn weird as well.

I thought it was cool that Wyatt didn't go all blame game on Blaskowicz at the end.

Also at the end of the credits you hear a chopper. I'm guessing they're hinting that the chopper picks him up before getting out of there.

True.

Thought the end credits music was great too.

The game is actually significantly different, picking one timeline over the other. And new game plus is really quite easy.

Second run through is proving fun. The other timeline is very different too.

One things that's not quite right, all of your guns carry over and perks, but not the laser cutter? Bit silly Imo.

How different is the other timelime? Story or gameplay

Jesus Christ. You can upgrade the LKW to an absolute beast

Scope, Multishot, Tracking Shot, Double Battery, AutoReCharge

Story mainly, the interactions are obviously quite different. The story follows the same arc mind.

Not that I've come across yet. Seems to be a few different characters and different cut scenes.

How the strawberry float do you get past that bit in Chapter 13 on the bridge? It slopes up, no cover, loads of bullet sponge blokes. strawberry float off.
