PostWonders of the Universe, Cosmos etc.

I have watched and loved both Wonders of the Solar System and Universe, can't wait for Wonders of Life, and I am in the middle of getting Carl Sagan's Cosmos to watch in a short while. I'm just wondering what other great programs there are about Space that I should be getting?

You should get the Wonders books as well, they're pretty good. I got them by mistake and ended up loving them :shifty:

There's a Wonders of the Universe book out too. Some brilliant pictures in that.

I occasionally follow the Bad Astronomy blog. The guy writing in is really good at explaining complex stuff, a bit like Brian Cox but less charismatic and sexy.

http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/badastronomy/

It gets updated almost twice a day, though, so it really takes dedication to truly follow it. Still worth checking every once in a while, especially when you read astronomy news on normal news websites, because the guy will usually explain what is really going on (like when they announce an asteroid is going to fly close to Earth, when they announce new planet discoveries, etc etc).

Can't find it anywhere, which is a shame.

Also going to look at that blog now.
