The BBC "reveal" videos for their pundits were also just awful.

The Zabelatta/Rio one especially.

The FA Cup trailers are awful as well - taking inspiration it seems from all of the adverts that have terrible poetry, and assuming that nobody over the age of 20 is interested in football anymore.

The squad's pretty uninspiring - Delph, Cahill and Welbeck in particular - but we just don't have that many good players. If I was manager I'd leave Alli out for being a massive banana split as well, but that was never going to happen in reality.

Roll on a last 16 exit. :toot:

Top comment on Facebook sums it up:

Watching this makes me wish we hadn’t bothered to qualify

I didn't want to hate this before watching it but I can't help it. Kids are banana splits.

Delph's done relatively well this year has he not? Plus having a bit of flexibility in position is a very positive thing to have at a tournament (why Milner was always a decent choice in the squad)...

Question is though who would go in for Cahill and Welbeck? No names particularly jump out at all (even though I'm holding my tongue about Tomkins, I doubt he'd flourish in the England team)...

As much as I dislike him, I'd rather have Smalling than Cahill. I guess having a decent backup plan in attack would be a good idea, so he should have gone with the old battering ram Andy Carroll instead of the uber-fragile Welbeck.

His form is partially down to him retiring from International football.....and Klopp.

France Squad has been announced.

Their list of players on standby isn't bad either.

Wilshere really didn’t need to tweet that he deserved to go.

Could have just wished the players well and left it as that. No need to be bitter on twitter or snapchat about it.

I would have taken him only because our options aren’t great in that position. But it’s not clear cut because he hasn’t done enough in the last two years. For someone who rates himself highly he couldn’t get in the Bournemouth team.

Wilshere loves a social media rant-see the (unjustified) ref moan after the League Cup final.
