Probably happens a lot. Germany hosted in 06 and met Brazil in the final....

Could have just wished the players well and left it as that. No need to be bitter on twitter or snapchat about it.

I would have taken him only because our options aren’t great in that position. But it’s not clear cut because he hasn’t done enough in the last two years. For someone who rates himself highly he couldn’t get in the Bournemouth team.

He tweeted he felt he could go to his followers on twitter....I don't see anything wrong with it, he also respects the managers decision and will support them in the World Cup.

Also the picture is rather funny. Only you could have me strawberry floating defend Wilshere!

The last time Germany and Brazil played in a final was 2002.

To be fair I totally forgot that that was the '02 final, and therefore a perfectly reasonable mix-up... I too have had quite a day :fp:

Joe Hart’s social media post was also cringe. He says it’s ‘hard to take’...well, yeah...YOU are, you mean.

Watching Hazard at the weekend, if he decides to turn up he's going to tear England apart. :dread:

Anybody doing any sweepstakes at work? Probably going to fall to me to organise my office's, need to get thinking about prizes and such.

Yep. I pulled Denmark. Five of your English pounds down the drain.

We've got about 70 people in our office (half call centre, half everything else) so we'll probably have to run 2 sweepstakes side by side.

I'll no doubt pull out Saudi Arabia, can't wait :toot:

I always seem to end up with Iran, so I'm expecting similar this time. :toot:

Nainggolan misses out for Belgium, likewise Morata for Spain.

Surprised they've gone Monreal over Alonso. Bellerin misses out too.

That Belgium forward line would be amazing if they actually turn up...

Belgium can't be that good if Benteke makes the squad.

I reckon he'll get cut when they drop it down to 23 unless Batshuayi isn't fit enough.

Nainggolan has retired from international football. Can see Martinez getting some heat from the decision to exclude him.
