Interesting game. Enjoyable first half. Damp squid of a second which always seems to happen when a team romps the first.

Sterling still looks lost as a striker. It's not his position so I don't understand why we are playing him there. He just doesn't have the positioning awareness for that spot. This is not an anti sterling rant, he is good at what he does but playing there is not it.

Also the service to the front two was actually pretty poor.

Senegal really do look frightening in the wide areas. I wouldn’t want to play them out of the four teams in this group.
