We'll get to find out just exactly how big a Real - Barca split there is in the dressing room then if he stays. I'd imagine this has thrown a massive spanner in the works for Spain now whether he stays or goes.

I am feeling better now about getting Sweden in the sweepstake, at least they’ll still have a manager.

He's stayed apparently.

Seems Spain gave him a new contract to 2020 only 3 weeks ago and are annoyed he's strawberry floating off already. Does seem like they're cutting their nose to spite their face though.

Why not keep it under wraps till after the world cup? These are professional people, it's so silly.

Apparently the players wanted him to stay. Dressing room is going to be toxic. It's probably best to drop any Spain players from our fantasy teams.

Balague reckons players wheren't happy about the situation before sacking and only Ramos was the one who didn't want him sacked.

If Spain now crash out in spectacular style then Real Madrid will be booed in every stadium they visit next season (including the Bernabeu!).
