Trippier looks distraught on the bench. Understandable obviously.

They have had 7 shots, we have had one. It might be a bit harsh to say you can't rely on set pieces, when we sort of have been for five or six games, but it can leave you looking a bit lost when you have to chase a game like this.

Gutting- I do think Southgate's been poor with his subs throughout the tournament. But he's done well to get us to a Semi-Final not matter the circumstances for the 1st time in 28 years, which as such a large footballing nation we should have done more often.

I just saw that stat about the shots pop up and was shocked (although at the same time disagreed with the half-time pundits that England should have been a couple more goals ahead because of their absolute dominance).

Funny how one game can change your perspective on everything. I imagine there will be a big focus on the lack of chances created in open play through the entire tournament.

Fair play Croatia. They deserved it.

We can’t miss blatant chances and surrender the midfield.

Kane was disappointing in the last two matches. He didn’t look right and looked jaded.

They did well to get this far, but just dont have the players and quality. Kane has been gooseberry fool all tournament as has alli. I don’t know why alli has played since the first game. Absolute gooseberry fool.

Good tournament overall but disappointing to go out like that.

England are like Everton, generally shite/average and when they do get your hopes up they never quite get over the line.

Didn’t create anything with any urgency in the last 10 mins. Piss poor really.

We've allowed our main central midfielder to coast through the tournament and he's made subs at the wrong time. Other than that a good effort with a massively average team.
