I did similar things to this as a kid, switching my shitty broken toy for someone else's pristine condition example and somehow expecting to get away with it!

The Thunderbird 2s were in similar conditions and when the pod was docked, you couldn't see the loose door.

It was nearly the perfect plan. Until he took the pod out to play some more.

"Hey don't get the pod out again now, let's pretend that Thunderbird 2 has got a malfunction and has to go without using pods!"

The other day I got a caramel krispy kreme in tesco and when the girl went to open the bag to check I said it was just a glazed one and she charged it accordingly

Related to this, I'm staying in a hotel at the moment, and someone who stayed in this room before me has left a hard drive plugged into the TV. There's nothing personal or identifiable on there, just a whole load of pirate films of... questionable quality (both in resolution and good/bad quality). Do I give it in to reception, or do I take it with me? :shifty:

Hand it in, they'll have a record who stayed in the room so the person who left it will hopefully be contacted.

Most of the Pirates films are shite. Just stick with Curse of the Black Pearl and ignore the sequels.

Firstly, yeah, hand it in so they can give it back.

Secondly, it's not a fantastic idea to plug random hard drives you find into your laptop to be honest. It could have all manner of viruses or whatever on it. "Hard drive full of pirate movies in a hotel room" would be a pretty clever attack vector, actually.

Thievary

Crisps stolen from a supermarket at 8
Magazines stolen from a school library at 12
Video games stolen from Boots and market stalls and Blank disks stolen from computer shows (teenage years)
Thousands of pounds of pirated games between 12 and 20
A cake from a supermarket at 20 (had every intention of paying for it but the queue at the checkouts was too long)

Destruction of property

Broke car headlights on about 20 cars
Put leaves and gooseberry fool into people's fuel tanks

Did this at about 8 on the way home from school with a friend.

Reformed character these days with piracy and the likes behind me. Amazing how many people don't think of piracy as stealing.

It's not stealing, it's unauthorised duplication.

I was once at Friend 1’s house with Friend 2. I took Friend 2’s Game Boy and then hid it in Friend 1’s house (without the knowledge of Friend 1). Just as he was leaving he asked where his Game Boy was and I said I didn’t know. They ended up hating each other ever since. Eventually I confessed but by that point the hate was too entrenched

Just two petty thefts (aside from pirating everything, but we know that's not theft and just education).

One miniature ceramic pot from a dolls house store.
One bag of Lego from a tiny (one of those £3.50 or so) box that was already torn open and so missing stuff anyway. Woolworths.

Crime strengthens character and moral convictions, everyone should try it at least once.

Oh I forgot, I recently stole a door.

On the subject of morally wrong, I once had a friend who had a number of small padlocks on a shelf in his bedroom. When he wasn't looking I took them all, put the bar on the lock through the holes on the keys and snapped them all shut making it impossible to unlock any of them. Was that wrong? I've never felt bad about it.

Serious answer: Like all pranks, it was wrong if he didn't see the funny side after.

He never mentioned it so I don't know if he ever knew it was me who did the deed.
