I had to leave work early a week ago and so have spent this week making up the time. I still owed 2 hours and so am in work at the moment. It really feels like the worst thing I have ever done, I should still be at home in bed.

I don't think I've done anything particularly bad so my worst is fairly minor compared to some others on here, but for me it was sort-of-ghosting the girl I dated for a bit back in October. We'd met and hit it off on a night out, first date was great, second one felt a bit awkward though and there wasn't really any spark. Didn't help that I'd slipped into a really low mood around the same time, so I was second guessing myself like crazy as to whether I genuinely wasn't feeling it or if it was just my depression dragging me down.
Kept talking for a while but then kind of just stopped messaging her. I think it was sort of mutual in that she stopped messaging me too (is mutual ghosting a thing?) but I still feel bad that I wussed out of just saying that I wasn't really feeling it because she was a genuinely nice girl and it would've been nice to just be friends if possible. Still see her around uni sometimes which makes it more awkward.

Similar to the opening post, I remained housemates with a friend with benefits who got super possessive and went full psycho. She hit me over the head with a ukelele* when she found me talking to another girl at a house party and later threatened to tell the police I'd been abusing her if I moved out. Luckily I'd started recording all our arguments on my phone at that point so that plan got strawberry floated.

I was eventually rescued by my friends who stormed in and literally stood between her and me as I collected my stuff.

I also tripped on a rock and ripped my big toenail off. That was pretty bad.

*Surely the most comedic instrument (lol) of abuse ever

i think if you genuinely feel bad and you do see her around next time just go up to her and say 'hey sorry i stopped talking to you a while back, i wasnt in a good place mentally at that time but i just wanted to say sorry for that, i wasnt anything to do with you'

a bad thing that could easily be resolved/sorted out

I always thought the Wasp Factory was fiction, turns out it was a biography.

I was just interested in snakes at the time but I had to be taught they weren't like dogs and especially as they're quite possibly poisonous it's best not to keep them loose.

So now all my reptiles are very much enclosed, don't worry.
