The sequel to my Best Thing You’ve Ever, Done thread.
What do you most regret doing?
Without a doubt, for me it was staying with my crazy ex gf for a year longer than I should have done even after she threw an Xbox at my head. Fortunately it was a 360 and not an original Xbox

I kicked a door down and went in wearing a gas mask and camo gear and threatened the life of someone who kept beating my friend up and stealing his stuff (he was in a flat complex), it worked but I think it was a pretty messed up thing to do, I was 15 at the time though and I guess we all do stupid stuff.
A lot of other stuff I kind of half regret but I also cant think of a better way to have done it. I entered a friends house once and he had slit his wrists and was plunging his arms into water.. he wouldn't let me stop him so I knocked him out with a punch and then wrapped towels around his arms and called 999. Knocking someone out was probably not the right port of call for when they were that down but he was fighting me and wouldn't let me help him and I just got scared and adrenaline took over.
I think a lot of stuff though you just do what feels right at the time and regretting it too much latter doesn't help

Getting hit by a car when I was 15
Spending a night in the cells at Hull police station
Buying a garden centre
Rushing into my current relationship when I was still young
Not trying at school and focusing on pointless subjects to much
Losing touch with some of my friends
I’ll stop before the list gets any longer!

The inside of the police station is worse, even worse was someone else in another cell shouting, screaming, banging and singing all night

Self harmed then shown the results to someone who hurt me to get a reaction. Self harming in general is something I'm not proud of but to do it just to hurt and upset some one, well it wasn't my finest moment and I regret it to this day.
Attempting suicide - as attempts go it was pretty half-arsed but still, I never want to be in that place again.
In the same vein, writing messages here a few years ago about how I wasn't coping then disappearing causing everyone to worry, put a search out for me and eventually contacting me. It was a shitty thing to do and I had no idea I'd caused so much worry. The fact that people guys went to that much effort to check if I was ok meant a lot
I still have a habit of disappearing from the forum though

When my wee brother was about 6 he fancied this girl in his class, and on my way home from school I'd bumped into her and she said "Are you so-and-so's brother? Well he fancies me and I hate him". I arrived home as my mum was helping him prepare a little card and present to give to her, and I told him what she said. He was absolutely crushed. It pains me even to write this.
I also sold my N64 and all my games (including Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and numerous other classics) to buy Enter the Matrix on Gamecube. This one might be worse.
