Humans are very good at finding hope where there isn't really any, so even if the moon were going to crash into the planet I imagine there would be lots of projects to try to survive or preserve something. Can we work out where the moon will hit? Could we get an ark up into space where it would survive the blast? Would vaults or bomb shelters or underground cities help? I would feel the need to try to do something.
If it were in two days I would probably just spend it wandering around some nice countryside in the middle of nowhere with my partner, hopefully away from all the anger and looting and so forth.
Worth noting that with hope and time there are a lot of people on this planet. Lots of people have lots of skills and the same 24 hours in their days. Given enough of a motivator, having potential billions of hands and brains working on one solution (ie, ark, silo, big ship, new grain, zombie gun - edit for disaster) really great things could be achieved.
Then go to space and revert when we devolve into local clans again on each wing of the mega ark.
