What a load of shite, why not include the special edition of the game?

Doesn't matter, Rik will still buy it anyway.

This suggests 360 beat PS3 then.

Maybe Wii too?

Wii did have stock problems throughout January in some States it was reported the other day, so could well have done.

exclusive downloadable content

This could be a theme or Avatar items, unless the gameplay is exclusive DLC for 360.

Oh and it's only with that bundle so more than likely.

Thats a pretty big first half of year for MS, i wonder if they have enough titles to maintain that going into Q3/Q4?

From what I was told, expect X10 to show to be a showcase of spring titles through september. They'll be showing off a similar set of games at the mvp summit next week too. No press conference, lots of new media, supposedly three announcements, and tons of hands-on time.

Where/what is that mvp summit?

So the adverts Ubisoft took out in the Reach edition of Edge stating a Feb release date were a bit of a waste of cash then?
Not that I'm moaning. God, there aren't enough hours in the day at the moment.
Too. Many. Games. :D

The Dead Rising prologue thing sounds good. I never played the original and really don't have the time to buy it to see if I like it but during a quiet weekend I can see myself buying the Prologue thing.

No interest in anything so far except that and Scrap Metal.

Xbox PR guy on Twitter:
Great #NPD start to 2010 for Xbox. Mass Effect 2 killed it, and Xbox beat PS3 handily.

Thisis before the slim . Natal and Reach?

iF true i'd be shocked. I was sure the ps3 now had momentum due to the relaunch and would keep it until the 360 relaunch. Maybe Heavy Rain will change things (ff won't, it's on both).

According to Aaron Greenberg, 360 did 333k while Mass Effect managed 572k in just under a week. :)

Good figures.. christ knows how they outsold PS3 with the momentum and the "it does everything" campaign goingon. Heavy discounting? Or the Mass Effect effect?

PS3 doesn't have 'momentum', not in the sense you mean it.

The consoles will sell on the basis of the big exclusive releases they have, expect PS3 to 'win' March by a distance, still won't mean they've got momentum though.

Due to God of War? You reckon that'll sell tens to hundreds of thousands more units then?

Yeah fair point. To be fair I read a lot of people say they felt PS3 has the momentum now and the 360 was done (not here), was just basing my comment on that assertion really.

I think you're right though. Equally I see April and May boosted for 360 by Splinter Cell and Alan Wake.

It's going to be even for now isn't it. Maybe the slim, Natal and price cuts will boost the 360 again later.
