Fable 3 to star at X10
Lionhead to reveal details at February event

Lionhead has revealed that it'll be showcasing Fable III at Microsoft's X10 event in San Francisco next month.

Writing on its Facebook page, the developer said it's looking forward to seeing "other games and announcements" at the event.

"We hinted at this a couple of weeks ago but today it's official, a big Xbox event called X10 will take place in San Francisco next month showing all the upcoming Xbox games," it said.

"Of course Lionhead is excited about showing the latest of Fable III, but we're also very much looking forward to all other games and announcements," it added, rather tantalisingly.

Other games you can expect to see demoed to the press will undoubtedly include Halo: Reach, Alan Wake, Crackdown 2, Splinter Cell Conviction and maybe, Project Natal.

Get excited.

New games to be announced at X10, says Nelson

Some good stuff is going to be revealed at X10 in San Francisco next week, according to Major Nelson.

To be specific, the MS exec said new games will be announced as well as other bits, although couldn’t confirm what those were.

“I’m gonna be in San Francisco for a press event that we’re doing called X10, which we will be announcing all sorts of cool games and stuff, other stuff that I can’t really talk about yet,” he said on his latest podcast.

X10 takes place at the Terra Event Center in San Fran next Thursday.

Halo: Reach, Alan Wake, Fable 3, Final Fantasy XIII and Project Natal are expected to be at the event.

I hope that's true, but Bungie gave out "First Person to play Halo: Reach!" at a charity event (Child's Play?) and the date on it was any time during a few weeks in April, so assuming they stay true to their word we probably won't see the beta until after that, around the same time frame as the Halo 3 one.

I'm surprised no-one responded to this yet:

So, I'll bite and speculate: Fable III to be controlled exclusively by Natal, no normal controller support?

What do you think?

I thought that was mentioned here :?:

But yes, I do believe that game will be mostly controlled with Natal. Perhaps even incorparting Milo Tech to interact with the villages.

Fable III will be nothing like Fabble 1&2 that's for sure

Some hints from Major Nelson:
At the venue for our X10 event. A LOT of cool stuff to talk about starting tomorrow. Hint: SCDR2F3HRLP2 and more

Ok..a couple of more new clues: GRPDAWTS. That's all for now.

Splinter Cell, Dead Rising 2, Fable 3, Halo Reach, Lost Planet 2, Ghost Recon, Perfect Dark, Alan Wake, and I'm not sure what TS is.

Probably the early hours of Friday morning, I don't think the event kicks off until 7pm US time.

More tweets:-

Garnet Lee

Remedy
Gearing up Alan Wake for X10, get ready to see something mind-blowing to kickoff the biggest year in Xbox history!

Mr Pointy Head (Euro version of Major Nelson)
Should be plenty of big announcements tomorrow, so look out for a vid on IX on Friday morning! I'll Tweet as the news rolls in too...

Bungie
We are nearly set for our #Reach show and tell at #x10 tomorrow. We might swing by the Legends premier to say hi ~8pm if we can
