PostXBLA Questions
by Yoshimi » Mon Oct 12, 2009 11:04 pm

My bloody kids have accidentally bought a XBLA game. I hate how easy this is to do. Just a couple of button presses from a nag screen on a trial game, and its bought. This is the second time it's happened. They've bought The Maw, and now Puzzle Bobble.

Is there any chance Microsoft would reimburse my points back for the latest purchase?

Is there a way I can set up my xbox to demand a passcode before buying anything, or do I need to setup a gamertag for the kids, and stop the xbox auto-signing in as me?

If you go into family settings there should be options in there to prevent the kids from buying stuff off XBLA using passcodes and whatnot.

Do this. Not only is it a decent way to stop it happening, but your kids will probably like being able to unlock their own achievements and stuff. :)
