How do you find out what % of the total achievements you have unlocked? x

Edit: Never mind I found it.

Number of Games: 4
Total Score: 3455 / 4250
Total Achievements: 157 / 193

Halo 3 - 100%
Gears of War - 51% (Doing this at the moment though so should hopefully have a few more soon)
COD4 - 100%
GTAIV - 84%

I think I'm doing OK for the amount of games I've played. I'm a little concerned about the GOW ones though, I need to do the online achievements which involve getting 100 kills with each weapon and such. Is there a quick and easy way to do this? Can I somehow play with friends and just boost it? Or does it have to be against randoms? x

My GS Completion percentage was over 70%, but then I played Beautiful Katamari. The number of completed games is rather poor, but there are some games I'm really close to 100%ing but I haven't been able to do so.

70%, not too bad. It would be higher if I could ever be arsed doing online achievements, but meh. I'll be adding to that over the next few days as I'm about to have another playthrough of Bioshock. I have some easy points to get from Oblivion as well, which will be my first completed retail game.

Best games are COD4 with 980/1000 (can't do Mile High Club :() and Crackdown with 1130/1250. Can't be arsed with orbs or stunt rings. Maybe some day.

Meh.

Got close to finishing off Scene It last night (950/1000). Did a play through with the gf helping and I managed the 60 questions in a row correct achievement. The only ones we got stuck on were the Final Cut ones at the end (it was some ancient black and white film). At that point we didn't know how many we had got right so far so it was VERY tense indeed. I'm going to try and polish it off tonight.

I saw you playing Scene It? My gf refuses to help me acheivement whore so she would not fake a 4 player Olympics game with me or fake Scene it!

At least she got a very nasty blister from Olympics last night - she got served.

My gf doesn't mind helping me with the games now and again. Before we had our daughter she was doing quite well achievement wise too (7000G or thereabouts in less than 3 months! ).

We only boosted Scene It as we had played it to death since Christmas. It's a decent game and we just wish they would have brought some DLC out for it already. looking forward to the sequel later this year.

The 4-player Beijing achievement is simple to get as to are a few others.

That is a real bitch, I must have got to the end of that three or four times and then accidentally shot the hostage instead. I got it in the end though, so just keep trying! x

Currently doing Forza 2. I hadn't yet unwrapped it since I bought the 360 back in October, but it's an OK game I guess. Not too difficult to get points so far, but it is quite time consuming. x

I didn't manage to get very far on Veteran at all: I couldn't even finish the Russian missions. It means I've only got just over 500 points. At least CoD4 is less Veteran orientated.

Condemned is really easy to get achievments from. You can get them all in two playthroughs or so.

Yeah, it was frustrating all right! The way the enemy more often than not respawns infinitely unless you run forward is a bitch. If not for that, it would be much easier. Played a bit of CoD4 today, and it doesn't seem to be the case here, luckily. 380 points after just a few hours, as well.

So you need to play through it twice to pick them all up? Difficulty anything to do with it?

If it's the first one he's on about, you can get 920 in the first playthrough, and fifty in the second.

But if you just save your game at the start of the last level and make the opposite choice, then you're winnar.

I'll keep that in mind, and yes it's the first one.

Thanks :)

There are achievements where you have to use melee weapons only and also achievements which require firearms being used. That would mean you need to play through it twice.

Not at all, you only need to replay one level for the latter of those, all of them appear on a certain one.

Nice one, and good luck on COD4. Be prepared to want to scream after you have 3 million grenades thrown at you every time you see an enemy in Veteran mode. x

Fantastic, sounds like fun... I'm not a big FPS player but do dabble in them now and again. Due to the respawning nature of the enemies, what is the best tactic for getting through the game on the higher difficulties? Should you just rush everything or camp out and try to clear a path?

Also played quite a bit of PacMan CE last night. Just trying to beat the extra modes now. Some were pretty hair raising when you had 30 seconds left and no remaining lives.

You'll soon find the choke points. Because of the respawning nature, you have to pass by a certain point in the level, let your (also respawning/ invisible) team mates catch up to that position, and the enemies will stop spawning there - many a time its the case of take cover, flash, sharpshoot / rush (and hope). Check some of gamerguides' videos on youtube. Have you played through on normal yet? - The main choke points should show up there. As I recall for me at least there was only really one point where the enemy grenades where a problem.
