Of course I'm game, it was loads of fun! If samoza doesn't want in this time around I'm sure Seven will play. He's been kicking my arse just lately. :x

Good stuff! I haven't invested in an Xbox One yet but should be picking one up in he new year and trying out all the Games With Gold freebies I've been downloading from Xbox.com. I'm definitely up for the competition again if we can get a group of four together again, I've eBayed all my dross so at least I'll be disciplined this time to pull games from the backlog and focus on ratio rather than quick scores. I think I've only managed one or two thousand points since April..

I think Diceman has joined the dark side and gone PS4 this gen so we might need another person. But we'll sort that all out closer to the date.

Haven't earned achievement since I've beaten Walking Dead Season 2 :shifty: Been playing other games but will go back and play more of Lego Marvel eventually.

Having come down with the flu this past week i've taken comfort in popping some achievements. I gave myself a blister on my left thumb trying to knock out the last glitched achievement on Mortal Kombat Arcade. It made me feel twelve years old all over again  .

I didn't get it

Mortal Kombat Arcade. :dread:

I've been playing Lego Batman 2 on 360 and Halo TMCC on Xbox One. One of these is generous with the G's and the other is going to take me about a year to finish. I'll let you guys decide which is which.

I so give a strawberry float less now that I'm collecting Trophies on my PS4. It sure makes a difference when you're starting with a tiny score.
I still have my 360 and a raft of games unplayed, but I'm currently addicted to the shiny new Next-Gen goodness. Can't remember the last Achievement I got. I realised the other day it's been a year since I last booted up GTA 5. Not even close to finishing it.

So I have an Xbox One and GTA V coming my way on Christmas Day. Feeling genuinely excited for it as I haven't had a new console on Christmas Day since my Sega Saturn in 1996 and even then I only had the Euro 96 game (which was awesome) and a couple of demo discs..

Owing to the Games With Gold deals I've been stacking the free games to download through xbox.com for the last few months and I imagine I'll grab Forza Horizon 2 and EA Access pretty soon after getting started so I'll be fighting on three fronts come the new year with my 360 and Windows Phone backlog to give extra ammunition to the Gamerscore challenge if we enter. Bring it on!

So do we have a proviosional line-up then?

Heatlight
Seven

????????

The last few months i've been mainly dabbling with my 200 or so Xbox Live Arcade backlog mainly because i'm too lazy to change discs and as soon as it becomes a bit of a hassle i just power the thing down so i'm planning on embracing digital on my Xbox One.

I'll likely grab a few bits in the Christmas sale. Is that Metal Gear game worth it? I know it's only a taster, not the full game.. Trying not to say 'demo' ;) . The achievement list likes the basis for a strong first week.

TigaSefi might join in, he seems to have been achieving quite a lot lately. I'll fire him a PM a bit closer to the time.

I have quite a large backlog of stuff on all formats at the moment so I wont be buying anything from the sale unless it's a silly bargain. What with Games With Gold on two consoles and all the EA Access stuff I'm pretty overloaded. At least there will be plenty for me to crack on with when the competition starts. Might finish Yoostar 2 off as well.

The Yoostar stuff from earlier in the year was a definite low point. Even in an empty house I felt pretty embarrassed 'humming' into my Kinect sensor.. Hopefully a more limited collection will help me focus more on the task at hand and do less game hopping. As for MGS, i've just seen in the Edge thread that it's their 6th best game of the year so that's getting bought.

Fair enough man, you were my first thought as you come up fairly regularly in my TA feed. I appreciate it's a big time sink though. SpaceJebus is another possibility. If anyone is reading this and wants to volunteer their services, feel free to shout! :)

OK, so registrations are now open. This year there will be the usual four man competition but also a solo competition running simultaneously, which will be good for some extra encouragement for the whole team! If you want to be in the GRcade team this year, shout out now! :)

EDIT - Just re-read the rules, looks like they've changed to three man teams this year. Well that should make it easier to sort out!

I finally completed Bomberman Live after downloading it over six years ago :D . Only really one skill based achievement though which is a shame for a game like that..

I seem to remember Samoza ruled himself out of this years competition a while back. Of course, if he wants to play then he'd be my first pick, old team members FTW. We could always do two teams if there were enough interest...
