Well damn. I never saw that coming!

I haven't actually finished the first game (due to moving away mid-playthrough and leaving my disc at home), but they could easily do a Fallout, and have different games on the series take place in different locations and at different times.

The original is set on the East Coast around Boston, I think? They could easily jump over to the West or somewhere and tell a different story (presuming that the parts of the game I haven't played don't negate that plot possibility).

Drops a spoiler and announces a game he's not involved in, all in one sentence. That's how you do it.

Really hope it's not a direct sequel, they finished that story perfectly as far as I'm concerned.

I love the fact that it will likely be a whole new story and even a new location, which will mean they can start afresh and bring us some new ideas too. Not too bothered with the multiplayer part and would prefer they concentrate on making this another great single player experience.
