Xbox broke?

Well my xbox is connected to my router via ethernet cable. All was working fine even last night. I checked this morning and the router could not detect the ethernet cable. At first I thought the ethernet cable broke so I replaced with new one. Still nothing I checked the ethernet cable on the laptop/desktop it works fine.
Why I can't connect to xbox please help.
MW2 is coming and this is my luck.
