I can't see any scenario where this would end well. Unless MS said "we are going to give the new model to all those loyal customers who bought the old one".

Yes?

"The Greatest games line up on Xbox History" is quite the claim, they aren't usually this bullish before an event.

It really is a big claim! It would be foolish if this was just hyperbole so what news does Spencer have to say this? New IP is good, but to get excitement requires a third party game exclusive. FFVII? Exclusive Mass Effect, 4 Star Wars Han Solo game partnership? The purchase of Konami? The purchase of Kojima? We will see!

They're buying Nintendo. Also have Shenmue 3 and Half Life 3 exclusive.

Well they're sticking to exclusives, so I expect the 'greatest line up' to be...

Halo 5
New Gears of War
Gears of War Remake
Forza 6
Scalebound
Quantum Break
Crackdown
Fable Legends
Battletoads
New Rare IP
Rise of the Tomb Raider (timed exclusive)
Joe Montana Football 16
Inside
Cuphead

...alongside COD and a couple more multiplats.

And Decisive Games Strategy Game, Lionheads new ip, Twisted Pixels new ip, Hololens Games, Indie Games plus Surprise's.

That's a very strong line-up for the next 18 months.

The main thing I want to see is VR, if they announce that they're bringing VR to Xbox then that means that all 3 big players this gen are involved (Sony, MS, PC) and will entice developers to invest in VR.

Until the headsets get less ridiculous, I think VR is a fad.

None, but they look stupid to me and im a gamer, jonny public won't be up for that.

I'm not criticising the tech, they probably are amazing, they just look massive.

A lot of people said the same thing about the Wii and that turned out alright.

Do you often contemplate the complexity of life?
