Am I correct in thinking there are now no upcoming Xbox One exclusives?

That's a good thing, right? More people get to play these games.

Yeah, it's up to the game to support it, but that's offered as part of Xbox Play Anywhere.

It's good for Microsoft and gamers, but it does kinda mean that Xbox now has no identity. I've always defined consoles by their memorable exclusives, those games that give it a distinct character.

Xbox is a service, not a console now. So it shouldn't change anything for you.

Since MS have a vested interest in keeping people gaming on Windows 10 it would seem a bit daft to hold back exclusives just for Xbox. I kinda get what you mean but I think most people these days buy a console for a wide range of games and features rather than a specific title.

Are you willing to admit that for the vast majority 'Xbox Exclusive' and 'Xbox and PC exclusive' are basically no different.

Wonder if they'll get rid of Xbox live? If they're going for this one Eco system thing, would make sense and make some people's choices very easy. I highly doubt it and they'll continue with console tax but you never know

There is no "Xbox One exclusive" going forward, only "Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive".

Like I said, its a distinction that the vast majority couldn't give a gooseberry fool about, it really does sound like you only give a gooseberry fool about it because you think its something you can bash MS with.

I forgot all about Battletoads, wasn't that supposed to have been rumoured for Xbox this year?

This buy once play anywhere is interesting.

If PC games are £30 and Xbox games are £45. Can I just buy the PC version and effectively get cheap Xbox games?

I'm not sure, Avon... I suspect that you'd have to buy from the MS Store to get the crossbuy and that may be dearer than buying from, say, CDkeys - but that is only my guess.
