Quick question, How would I go about getting back the 30 odd quid left on my Xbox live account before it expires in June?

I can't physically use my Xbox anymore and can't use the credit on the Windows store as I'm using Win7.

No idea, no way it's transferable to PC? If can't get it back I'd suggest renting some movies with it.

Points which were converted into currency expire on the 1st of June 2015.

I've got about £15 I need to spend but I don't own an Xbox anymore. Might just buy something for when I eventually get a One.

I've got just under £10 I need to get rid of and I'd rather donate it to charity than pointlessly spend it is that a possibility?

If Microsoft is a charity, then yes. I finally spent the few hundred I had left in points and cards recently. If you every played Rock Band it's quite easy to empty your wallet on the DLC

They don't need to be a charity to give you your own money back.

I'm pretty sure they warn you when you buy the credit in the first place that it is non refundable and non transferable.

Got an email saying I've got £5 in my account that's going to expire.

1. I don't know why I'd have money in a Xbox account and not spend it
2. How can sterling expire? :fp:

As in tennis racket?

Firing up the 360 for the first time this year to see if there's anything to spend this money on.

Had an email.

Are there any sales coming up on XBLA?

Thought I'd buy Ori but it's £15.99 and I've got £15.89. Don't suppose I can pay the 10p by PayPal or card?

How have people racked up balances like that?

I think everytime I bought MSP, it was because there was something I wanted to buy right then using them.

And obviously my experience is the only valid way of doing it, so you must have all been doing it wrong.

That's how I did it but I know a lot of people took advantage of special offers on prepay cards and such and bought points in bulk.

The reason why I have so much unused credit is that I got a few points cards when they were really cheap, unfortunately this was around the time when my hand strength was rapidly deteriorating and a couple of weeks later I had a bad case of flu which had me bed ridden for nearly 3 weeks, after that my hands had deteriorated to the point where I couldn't hold the 360 or PS3 pads anymore.
