Hello,

This will be one of the daftest questions you've had in a while.

I can't figure out how to play the game I've put in the cd drive on my xbox one....i've never had this issue before and it's gone to automatically 'install'. However this time, I cannot even locate the cd drive, i cannot find the game, when I go into the marketplace, it tries to make me buy the game that is in my cd drive??

I have tried this with two different games (ironically fifa 16 and 17...my flatmate picked them up for a tenner today) and still to no avail.

So I've come to a number of conclusions.

1 - My xbox is broke?
2 - both of the games are broke?
3- I am broke/very dumb?

Are the discs in poor condition?

Have you tried it with a game that previously worked?

Try doing a hard reset and try again.
