POP Sands of Time upscales really well. It's only in 4:3 so the PS3 remaster still has the edge. What i would give for another decent POP game but Ubisoft appear to have given up on the franchise sadly

Trying out Black now. Really want those old burnout games. I'm sure they could strip the music if they had to

Apparently the left and right shoulder buttons are used for the white and black buttons from the original xbox pad for playing OG xbox games.

Don't see 13 games available either only 10...well 9 as Psychonauts not available which is one of 2 I don't own.

Halo 3 360 is one of those games getting an enhanced graphics patch. What is the purpose of this if it's included in Halo:MCC - is the MCC version the better version?

Some people don't own MCC.

I figured people who have an Xbox One and love Halo are likely to have MCC.

Anyway I found this. Now I think about it it's kinda obvious the MCC version has better res and new cut scenes.

Yeah I kind of feel like anyone who likes the Halo franchise even slightly will already have the MCC considering how cheaply it’s been on sale previously (four games for a fiver doesn’t even need thinking about)

I'm open to correction on this but from what I have been told Halo 3 pioneered a whole mess of new techniques for extracting better performance from the 360 that MS then turned around and included in later versions of the 360 SDK. Therefore if you nail emulation of Halo 3 you'll have a lot of the work already done when it comes to emulating titles that came after it.

Halo 3 MCC is double the frame rate of original.

Mutant Storm Reloaded is now BC. I am happy about this.

A launch title on the 360's Live Arcade, I think it might even have been the first downloadable game I ever bought.

Yikes, they’re running out of decent stuff to make BC, by the looks of it. Where’s Binary Domain, or Spec Ops: The Line? Get your fingers out.

I played a tiny bit of Ninja Gaiden Black yesterday. It’s still a good game, but the camera is strawberry floating awful. I am so used to modern games where you can easily move the camera around to the angle you want it and I really struggled with it. Eventually I found the button that automatically moves the camera to directly behind you, but it’s still damn annoying.

Other than that though, it seems to have aged well and is well worth £6.75.
