The BC games are constantly patched but I can't find anywhere to see what they've done. Call of duty 2 and Red dead got patches recently.

Nothing is better than Ian Gillan completely butchering a song. It's so awful that it is good.

Making these JRPGs backwards compatible is great but why aren't they also made available to buy and download from the Xbox store?

I'm curious if making digital versions could mean PC releases are also possible? I'm not sure how that works though, I imagine it isn't quite that simple.

I'm excited! :toot:

My understanding is that the Xbox One is using a virtual machine to run 360 so hopefully backwards compatibility can come to PC like the Play Anywhere games. I'm not a fan of games as Windows 10 apps, which is a strong reason behind skipping Gears 4 and Forza, but I could make an exception for games like Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon.

Gears 4 is apparently one of the best (if not THE best) example of Unreal Engine 4 on PC.

I'd like them digitally, wallet am cry.

There's bunch of the indie exclusives like Poker Smash that I'd really like to see added to the service.

I get that some people may not like Poker Smash but since the mooted PC version seems to have died a death then ultimately the only version of the game out there is the XBLA release. If titles in a similar situation don't get brought over to the Xboxone library then they'll eventually just disappear from legitimate channels and the only way people will get to play them is through piracy. I hope MS start trying to preserve those games in some form.

It's not the games themselves, its the atrocious W10 store frontend; it's "EA Origin circa 2011" bad.

It sounds as though Mass Effect 2 & 3 are now backwards compatible.

I don't I've played a game before or since Blue Dragon where so many of the enemies were quite literally pieces of gooseberry fool brought to life by parasites.

ME2 is god tier. I love it, I hope the BC version runs as well as the 360 one.

Pretty sure I don't own either mass effect 2 or 3 digitally but both were in my ready to install queue. Is this an EA Access thing?
