Why?

I know the Master Chief Collection can be picked up cheaply but if people already own one of those games then it's good that they don't have to pay for a remaster.

Good stuff, the main thing is making Xbox One a console that plays ALL Xbox games, regardless of remasters.

Master Chief collection is about €7, it has everything the originals have plus Halo 2 and 1 online.

ODST is definitely worthwhile, the MCC version doesn't have Firefight on it. But even so, surely it's a good thing that more people have access to their old games? Yes, some folk would be happy to upgrade but for others (and also people who want the old achieves, like me) it's great news. Not sure why it bothers you so much.

There's better things they could be spending their time on, though. They should be focusing on making games backwards compatible that aren't already available on the system in some way.

They should be focusing on games you can't play anywhere else. Hurry up with Ace Combat 6, Ninja Gaiden 2, Tales of Vesperia, Saints Row, PGR4 and Crackdown already!

I had to exit the preview programme and reset my console. Love the new dash but I had major sound issues because of it.

There isn't much left of this year if they're still planning original xbox BC before the year's out. I was hoping we'd have heard a little more about it by now... Have I missed any new updates about it, or are they still keeping quiet?

I assume only the controller works with Child Of Eden? They did say Kinect stuff wasn't possible.

I have noticed 2 of the Disneyland 360 Kinect games are now showing in the marletplace.

I'd love Kinect games to work as some were decent fun don't get why they couldn't get them working with the new Kinect

Yeah they're 'remastering' a couple of the old Kinect games, I assume to keep the last few remaining Kinect fans happy.

When they first announced Backwards Compatibility they said Kinect wasn't possible because of the difference in camera quality, but i'm sure there must be a way of emulating the old camera. I guess it's not exactly a priority these days, which is a shame. I really enjoy some of those games.
