The £5 Microsoft gift cards on Microsoft rewards are the cheapest I've ever seen them (4,410 for £5)

The £5 Microsoft and Xbox gift cards are usually nearly 6,000 points, and when they're discounted I've never seen them cheaper than 4,700 each. I just bought two last week so now have no points for these :fp: I should be able to save enough by the end of the month (usually able to save enough for a £5 card and halfway to the next every month)

You can redeem your points for them here: https://account.microsoft.com/rewards/redeem/

You have about 3 months to spend them and they're added to your Microsoft wallet with any other currency you have there. The credit that's due to expire first gets spent first.

It’s a tool for developers if they choose to use it.
It’s not system level and not meant to mess with balance/matchmaking (developers will likely be able to make multiplayer pools of controller only, k&m only or all).
It’s also meant to allow certain games and styles that aren’t well suited for console to be playable.
Coming to preview in October with Warframe.
They partnered with Razor.

Hey, Xbox GRcadians!

I want to get a controller charger (to charge two controllers) for my nephew. Is the official Play and Charge kit "the best"? Or are any of the third-party options / charge docks just as good?

How do you charge yours?

Thanks, Dragon - that's an interesting choice... I hadn't thought of using AA rechargeables! I was thinking of a kind of charger unit that you can sit the controllers on... but maybe they're not as good? Hmmn... thanks, I'll have a think :-).

I prefer this method as I'm not limited to using them in an Xbox controller. The good thing about having four batteries is that you can charge a pair while you use a pair.

+1 for eneloops.

I got an eneloop charger and 4x AA's pack for £10 from Waitrose a few months ago. Your local one might still have them. Now I have about 12 AA's and 4 AAA's and I couldn't recommend them enough.

My vote is for the play & charge kit. It's probably overpriced, but I can't be doing with all that battery-changing faffybollocks. The battery in the kit lasts ages, and my four-year-old one, in regular use, is showing no signs of losing capacity.

Yeah this, rather my play & charge battery myself over rechargeable AA's. Very rarely runs out and when it does start to go down I plug it in sitting next to the console when not in use.
