Lego games are fine, it's just that they haven't changed the formula in about 58 games now and they've got pretty stale.

I just never got on with them, I got stuck at start of a few of them as the puzzle solutions seemed illogical. I think if you completed one you'd know how things work but since I was late to the franchise I was flummoxed at how things worked. In Lego LOTR's I got to the town near the start (in the movie where the prancing pony is)and literally have no idea what to do, I had no instructions what so ever so just gave up after running around for 10minutes.

I had the same with Assassins Creed 3, having not played an AC game they didn't have a proper turorial and at start it has a fight and says "hit attack" but not which button attack is, then "use parry" without explaining WTF was going on, I was infuriated!

I don't mean to be funny, but I can't see how anyone gets stuck on games these days. I mean you can type in your problem into Google and you'll get tons of guides. I've never even played Lego LOTR and I found the solution to that area in seconds.

It's not something I tend to do, and more over it's not something I should have had to do.

Well obviously it's not something you should have to do, but it seems odd to write a game off entirely when you could solve your problem quickly and simply.

Does it happen again and again? I just didn't want it to be a hindrance, I may go back then when the summer is over. Can I play it co-op online, prefer that as she has my old X1 in her room.

I'm shocked that anyone would get genuinely stuck on a Lego game at all tbh, they are made for literal babies.

I think you're being a bit unfair, there are occasionally moments in Lego games where the solution is a bit obtuse. The path forward can be hard to find sometimes too, especially as some routes can only be opened by characters which you haven't unlocked yet. I've had to seek out a solution on more than one occasion myself.

Nah the formme I've always found the path forwards very simple. You always have the characters you need to progress story wise. It's only a little tricky in that you may come across something that is not meant to be done until you beat the level and come back with a different character.

While joking it is funny how people can be OK for lack of tutorials and gooseberry fool in one game, but against it in another. Like people wanking off Dark Souls and then crying about Sea of Thieves.

I have played and 100% most of the LEGO games and only recently stopped buying them as I am genuinely unsure which ones I have played or not when I am in a shop (I have the same issue with COD games). In many of them I have been a little stuck at time and had to use a guide. They are full of glitches so you play for 20 mins in one area and it can be a genuine puzzle you missed or a bug in the game. They used to freeze on me a lot of the time.

I miss those LEGO games! I am saving them up to replay with my daughter and she can be the lead account to get her own cheevos!

I’m with Photek, the Lego games can be needlessly difficult to navigate. The biggest problem I have is discerning what is interactive and what is scenery.

Over the last couple of days i’ve noticed my ready to install list has gone missing. Any ideas?
