Apparently some people are seeing a months Game Pass for £2 on the store, and some are even getting an extra month when they go to turn off automatic billing. Not sure if stackable, but worth a check.

Whatever happened to them? I met the tall one at at Eurogamer show, for some reason I asked to have my photo with him! But he was cool with it and was friendly.

I'm getting this offer. Tempted. How much discount do you get on games you want to buy? Thinking for FH4.

20%, and 10% off any DLC. I'm paid up on Game Pass till the middle of 2020, so I don't intend on buying any for a while!

I should point out that the extra month is actually being advertised now on Microsoft's website, so that's two months for £2. Supposedly only for new members, but those that have used trials seem to be eligible.

'Xbox All Access' looks like a new subscription service with Xbox Live, Game Pass, and a console

We've heard Microsoft is soon planning to debut a new contract-based monthly subscription service dubbed "Xbox All Access," offering the cheapest way to get an Xbox console, Xbox Live, and Xbox Game Pass.

As always, plans can (and do) change, but if what we've heard is accurate, Microsoft is looking to unveil its new "Xbox All Access" service later this month. If you're wondering why it wasn't announced at Gamescom 2018 in Germany, it's because it's looking like it's US-only.

Customers will be able to pay around $22 per month and net themselves an Xbox One S, Xbox Live, and Xbox Game Pass for two years. Around $35 will net them an Xbox One X.

Very impressed with the Blu Ray capabilities of the X. Watched 2 4K films thus far and both have looked excellent and played without issue.

One thing I have noticed is how the X is yet to drop connection between the HDMI and TV (handshake), something which happens semi regularly on the PS4 Pro, much to my irritation.

Loving my Xbox One S. But something weird had happened.

Normally I can unplug the controller and press the x and the controller and the Xbox starts. Now the controller lights up but the Xbox doesn't recognize it unless it's plugged in.

So I can play wired but not unplugged.

Checked settings and it all seems fine. Any ideas?

Does a restart help? I think I had an issue like that once.

Yeah you may need to do a "full" restart from the settings menu, just a power of and on just hibernates.

Oh god help me. Amnesia is coming to Xbox next week. Not sure I can take it, but I have to try.

Microsoft has confirmed cult horror series The Amnesia Collection is coming to Xbox One on 31st August, 2018.

The Collection includes the original The Dark Descent game, its sequel A Machine For Pigs, and expansion Justine.

"This horror game collection contains three Amnesia titles: The Dark Descent, A Machine For Pigs, and Justine," says the brief description on the Xbox Wire update. "Experience the series that kickstarted the Let's Play revolution and be immersed in three living nightmares that will chill you to the core."

There's currently no indication that the games have been updated in any way for the Xbox One X, and other details - such as price, for instance - have yet to be confirmed.

It's been a couple of years since the collection rolled out on PlayStation 4, but there's never been any sign that it would come to Xbox One so: surprise!

"Fans of horror gaming should definitely have Amnesia: The Dark Descent in their lives," we said in our review back in 2010. "It's a brave experiment in the genre and stops at nothing to make you truly, deeply uncomfortable."

That could be ok if they price it keenly enough but I think most will still opt to buy the console as having to send it back if they don't want to subscribe any more would be a bit gooseberry fool.

I'll reserve judgement until we see the price plans.

Price seems pretty reasonable, I would be more that happy with a "sub" version and not have to pay lump sum.
