He says he doesn't know why... although I think he'd been having some issues around trading items with a couple of people in Fortnite. Have any of you guys seen this kind of message pop up before?

I don't want to cast aspersions on your nephew but he should know why he was banned. There is no actual in game or official trading in Fortnite like there is in Rocket League. If he was doing any of it, it was more than likely through the Xbox Live messaging or voice communication, either way it's not allowed under the terms and conditions, he's lucky he only got a week tbh.

EDIT:
Don’t engage in fraud or unauthorised transactions. For example, don't:

Lend, transfer, sell or otherwise provide third parties access to your accounts or Gamertags
Access or attempt to access accounts that you do not own
Purchase memberships, games, gift cards, account credit or content from unauthorised parties
Use your account to trade services or in-game content for memberships, games, gift cards, account credit or content
Resell or redistribute any part of Xbox Live

A violation of the Microsoft Code of Conduct may be cause for these or other actions:

- Automatic assignment of a new Gamertag, if you create an inappropriate Gamertag.
- Content deletion, if you create or use inappropriate Content.
- Restrictions (e.g. communications, multiplayer, account access) on your use of Xbox Live services, if you abuse those services.
- Permanent suspension or device ban, if you commit an egregious violation that includes, but is not limited to: hacking, modding, profile tampering, fraud, trading or stealing accounts or Gamertags, severe racial remarks, impersonating Xbox staff, displaying nudity, repeatedly creating inappropriate Gamertags or profile content, distributing URLs to phishing sites.
- Permanent suspension or device ban, if you try to avoid suspension with alternate accounts and/or devices.
- Permanent suspension or device ban, if you repeatedly commit violations.

If he's caught again they could essentially brick the console from being able to access Xbox live.

Yeah, I dunno what he was doing if there's no in-game trading option. I'm hoping that it'll be a case of "lesson learnt" and he'll steer clear of any kind of "items trading". He's upset now as he can't play during this holiday weekend.

He could have been scammed or attempts were made that he was, if he was complicit in it though unfortunately he’ll get a ban.

Its nice to know that still the Xbone pad disconnects itself a good few times and has never been fixed. Game of PUBG, rush in to a building kill 1 guy, controller disconnects as I attempt to revive a squad mate, other guy appears and disconnects again but luckily for some unknown weird as strawberry float reason leaves me be and tries to revive his mate. Controller reconnects and I kill him, 3rd team member comes waltzing in and happens again but this time I die. strawberry float you Bone controller, strawberry float you.

Shouldn't have to do that. Gave it a cold restart and so far so good. Think last time I had a Bone I left quick start off so will also revert to that setting on the X.

I tend to leave my lead in anyway cos I play mainly online with mates and have headset in which kills the battery. A headset is a must for PUBG as you know.

Using my PS4's Gold headset which works fine with the Bone ;)

Just loaded up Gears 3 and my goodness the difference. Got a 360 Elite in my room which was just kept for Gears 2&3 but the difference is really something else.

Is anyone else in the dashboard preview program? Mine's just updated and the "sharing data" and "error reporting" errors it gives you when you sign in are in the kind of messed up font that 12 year olds use on facebook or whatever. Looks crazy :slol:

There isn’t a fix for that, even if you’re tethered with a USB cable. The only way I fixed mine was buying a new console and that seems to be the case for the huge amount of reports you see online

It's been fine since so fingers crossed. Was just a pain in the arse that it happened exactly the moment I didn't need it happening which was being face to face with anothe rplayer in PUBG that I was about to kill and also trying to revive 2 team mates :slol:

Left quick start off and think I'll do a full shutdown at night after use.

Yeah the Enhanced back compat games are insane. I booted up Gears 3 myself to have a gander after your post. :fp:

It's been up on Amazon for just over a week, but has now sold out. It was originally scheduled for early May but has now been pushed back until the 18th.

I can see it being extremely popular. Is it a limited run or is it being made indefinitely?

Not sure if it's a limited run or not. It's a little pricey at £70, but I wouldn't mind picking one up at a later date if still available.

£70 for one of the worst controllers ever made?
