Can I check purchase history on the console? I can't find the option. If I've been hacked by some 8 year old wanting to play pretend lego then I'll be livid.

Your purchase history will be on xbox.com won't it buff?

Probably, I want to access it from my console though. Not possible?

Literally no idea. Don't think you could do it on the 360 either. I have a hard enough time finding the store to find games. :fp:

There was a download history on 360 which would do the job of telling you what you'd purchased and when. I can't find that on Xbone though.

MS send me an email whenever I buy something through Live, would it be easier to check your emails Buff?

I get those emails too but not on this occasion. They're not giving Minecraft out for free surely?

Is it free if you had it on the 360?

Nope, it's £3-ish if you had it on 360.

My Xbox one got delivered a couple of weeks ago. I havent really connected it up and had a proper go until today. My 360 is connected up using the VGA cable, but i had in the past tried the HDMI cable. However when i did the picture looked "funny".

Today I bought Dead rising 3 and had a play around with it. The HDMI picture that i get is washed out and overly sharp. the colours are dulled and somehow there is a "ghost" effect to some of the dark colours. I have an LG tv that has XD video acceleration (whatever that means). And there is an option on my TV to run a demo that shows what the picture is like with the XD off in a tempory split screen mode. The picture is alot better with XD off. But there is no option to switch off.

There isnt really any other option that to connect to the TV instead of the HDMI cable. So today i was playing around with the options and changed the xbox video output to DVI. This made the picture good, but with no audio. So now ive re-connected my optical sound system and its all ok.

Has anyone else experienced problems with their TV and HDMI output?

EDIT:

Image
Ive got it on 720p, DVI connection colour depth 32bit and PC colour space.

auto detect/HDMI, 720p 32bit, colourspace TV

Does your TV not have a game mode? That would usually disable any XD Video Acceleration, MotionFlow, Dynamic Contrast Correction and so on that modern TVs have, because you don't really want any of that stuff for games. Another thing to look at is the TV calibration in your Xboxes video settings. It's talks you through setting up your TV (contrast, brightness etc.) step-by-step, it really is very good.

What an utter joker :slol:

Seriously, how many hours have you put into Titanfail to make such a claim?

I've put over 100 hours into it including playing the beta.

There is a game option on the TV, But it just seems to flick to a preset set of brightness/contrast and sharpness settings. I had a quick look at the step by step but dismissed it, I will have a better look at it.

My TV is 7 years old. I did think about getting a new one because this one is only 720p. But I cant justify to myself getting a new one just to go from 720 to 1080. Its 22 inches, and i cant really get a bigger one in anyway ;) So I dont think Id notice too big a difference at 1080 with this size (?) and with the dvi/optical audio set up its ok.

I don't think it's the 1080p difference mate, it's the difference a newer, better tv will make.

There will be a lot of differences.
