I got some eneloop rechargeable batteries from Amazon. They're really good plus you can use them outside of Xbox controllers also.

CD keys, I couldn't tell you if dash has a deal, you get 2 weeks free code in box and a month of game pass I think.
What is making you get an X? your PC is more than powerful!

I was bored of the Switch which is a sad thing to say and was just gathering dust, that and I have a 4K TV that needs a UHD Blu Ray player

Well not a bad excuse, plus you can download all those cross buy/play games for free and you have gamepass set up!

Since a dashboard update a few days ago, the sound that plays when you select something has changed from a "dink" to a "blonk". I hate it. Can i change it back?

I don't think so. I'm still amazed they felt the need to change that... As though the dashboard is flawless everywhere else, but the sound effects were just too bad to live with.
It's classic Microsoft-dashboard-updating all over. They just can't leave things alone.

I errrrr don't really like the One X dashboard
Been almost a year and half since I sold my og Bone so not sure if the X has it's own version of the dash or not.

It doesn't, that's just how it is now. Crazy that Microsoft still haven't managed to sort it out, and yes the new sound effect is awful.

I think it funny that Microsoft feel the need to add and change the dashboard when all that's really needed on the main screen is the button to access all games and the last three played. That's it.

Quantum Break has been downloading for the past 3 hours since setting it up via wired connection. Talk about slow
got a queue of about 14 games so hopefully a couple are ready in the morning.
Was able to start and play the first couple of levels of QB and it does look rather nice now on the X.

Downloading For Honor and Just Cause 3, you can buy both for €20 on sale! I’ll still play em first.
Tried Homefront cos it’s on Gamepass, it’s phenominal at least at start, X1X upgrade I presume is the reason but it’s pretty AF and the gun play is great, snappy and brutal.

My eldest nephew (12) has received a one-week ban from the Xbox Live service. He said that he'd just finished a Fortnite game when a message window popped up informing him of the ban. He says he doesn't know why... although I think he'd been having some issues around trading items with a couple of people in Fortnite. Have any of you guys seen this kind of message pop up before?
