Just checking - you know the add-on collection doesn't include the game?

Yup, thanks! I already have it but never started it. I think I got it in a bundle with something, or was it a Games with Gold thing? Either way it's in my ready to install, but I missed out on the DLC pack the last time it was available.

Ah, that's ok then. It's a great price for all the add-ons. I already bought Storm Island and the Porsche pack when they were in a sale, otherwise I'd be getting it too.

EDIT: I don't recall FH2 being GWG. It's not the FH2 Fast/Furious version is it? That was free for a while.

Oh I have the F&F one too. I have a feeling it came in one of those bundles with a controller. This is a sign that I have too many games :dread:

Wow Cities Skylines got a pretty good review (only one I can find so far)

http://www.windowscentral.com/cities-skylines-xbox-one-review
When it comes to the Xbox One version, I'm quite happy to say that Cities: Skylines already resides among my favorite games on the console, and I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of the rest of the game's DLC that's currently available on PC.

I am resoundingly impressed with how well the control schemes have translated to a controller, and it gives me hope that we could one day see more complex management-type games hit Xbox One, now that Cities: Skylines has shown us the way forward.

4.5/5

It's sitting on my hard drive waiting for me to get home. :datass:

Just found another:

Both newcomers and veterans will find something to love in Cities: Skylines Xbox One Edition. It's incredible menu and HUD combined with smooth graphics and addictive game play will keep you coming back and back again and make you forgot all about the sim genre disappointments of the past - You've found the Key to the City of Awesome.

5/5

As someone who has enjoyed the game on Steam, the Xbox One version of this game has surprised me by how brilliantly the developers have implemented it on the console. It was implemented so well that it has become my preferred way to play for the most part. Limitations of the console aside, the game elegantly scales to match the playstyle of most console gamers, without slowing down the system to the point where it becomes unplayable, opting to dynamically adjust the fidelity to ensure high performance.

Although the game does have some issues, mainly the inability to draw items in detail from further out, the gameplay experience and underlying systems have been tailor made for the controller. The control scheme was pretty easy to get into and before I knew it I was building like a seasoned player.

Cities: Skylines overall is one of, if not the best implementation of a Steam game on console, and Tantalus Media must be praised for their ingenuity overall. This might be the beginning of their move towards bringing bigger franchises to console in the future. My hope is for Tyranny.

Is the game for everyone? Well, that depends in the end, since the game does offer a challenge for each type of gamer while keeping it simple for the novice. It can use some adjustments, mainly in the time-lapse department as it can become quite slow off the bat. However, the game earns its stripes and is a must-have title on Xbox One this year.

Hopefully it paves the way for Planet Coaster.

I'm currently enjoying Astroneer on Xbox. The controls and the viewing angles are a bit turd but reading the above gives me hope it will be improved it is pre alpha after all.

These positive murmurings of Cities have got me genuinely excited to add this to my collection. I can't afford a desktop at the moment to play games on so if I can experience astroneer, cities and holy hell if planet coaster did come to Xbox I'd be over the moon.

Really like everything Microsoft is doing with the Xbox and the upcoming Scorpio I just think the first party games are not that appealing anymore. Hopefully sea of thieves will be a AAA new IP.

I was thinking of picking up Lego Star Wars at some point, now i can get it for "free". Not too fussed about the rest.

Lego Star Wars the Complete Saga isn't anywhere near as good as later titles, due to it be way less refined.

I completed it when it first came out, and haven't played it since (actually, I think I might have traded it in), so I guess you're right. But at the time it was brilliant, and out of all the Lego games its source material is the one I'm most familiar with, so all the gags hit home.

The preceding version (which only covered Episodes 4 to 6) had bastard-hard no-death achievements. Some of those were an evil challenge, but they cut them from the Complete version.

Those Cities Skylines reviews have made me sit up and pay attention. It's one I'd added to the "buy later" list, and hadn't thought much about, but I need to find out more.
