Mate has it and thought it was excellent. It’s mechanical Dark Souls AFAIK.

Absolutely shocking business practice, pretty sure there are supposed to be laws in place to stop this kind of thing.

Anyway, don't buy them.

I've been waiting for them to come down to £3, never mind an increase! :slol:

I have this odd issue with my One X. I normally turn my machine off and then switch off the plug at the extension socket and when I come to turn my xbox back on it starts and does the funky xbox splash screen and then switches itself back off again and sometimes restarts itself is that normal?
It's not a problem I just wondered if it's a known feature.
I quite like the funky Xbox One X splash screen and explosion as it sounds powerful and special  :fp: .

I do the same as you although I unplug my console completely because it get stored away, when I turn it back on it starts normally, it shouldn’t turn on and then off again I wouldn’t have thought, other than that is it all normal?

I also like the start up sound :)

My Xbox day 1 used to do that sometimes, if it had power on the wall the console would randomly switch itself on sometimes. Not sure it ever restarted though because I'd pull the power brick out of the console whenever it happened.

Is there anyway to stop getting the "TV Signal Lost" splash screen when I turn mine on? Hooked it up to the cable box when I first got it, but it never really worked properly so I disconnected it again. Now I can't stop it asking me every time I turn it on.

In start up options turn off 'go to tv at start up'.

I really love that splash as well. I thought it might be like the Xbox 360 used to have, where there's a special splash that shows the first time before setup but afterwards it's just the boring standard one. I like seeing it each time!

How easy is it to get a refund from Microsoft? I picked up CoD WW2 in the sale and the connection issues make it more or less unplayable.

Pretty easy actually, you'll need to spend a few minutes on live chat but they're normally really decent.

Is there a time limit after you've bought the game? I really like it but this the connection problems are horrendous, I can't remember the last time I had this much of an issue.

When they had auto refunds there were strict limits, but if you're getting one from chat you'll be ok as long as you aren't taking the piss and have a legitimate reason. Let us know how you get on.

I'm torn now. Managed to get a couple of reasonable games and I really like it.
