My son got a Forza 3 Horizon code with his XBO but once on his Live account, I can't use it on my PC unless I log in as him. If I used the code on the Xbox account I used in my PC and then created this account on his XBO and downloaded the game, would he then be able to login as his account and play it or is it tied to my account?

I'm pretty sure the game is always tied to one account, and you need to be logged into that account to play. Could be wrong though.

I have a simple enough question, I don't want to open a can of worms but its about when I get my X1X.

My Xbox One is set up as my home xbox, it has me and my daughter on it. Am I right in thinking is that all I have to do is sign in to X1X (and not setting it as home xbox) and thats it in terms of both xbox's using my gold sub and using same games?

Yup, you should be able to download and play any of your games, as long as you're signed in to the new console. Other profiles will only be able to play games on that console if you are also signed in.

Heads up in case anyone hasn't done this yet, you can currently get the following games via Games With Gold by switching your region in the settings menu. And before anyone asks, no you won't get banned for this.

Taiwan: Kalimba & Powerstar Golf (full unlock)
India : Lococycle

Very easy to do, and you can change your region back as soon as the download has started.

I’m not sure Lococycle is worth it but a free game is a free game!

Cheers!

Will try it tonight. Is this because they have alternative Games with Gold than the rest of the world?

The visuals for Rayman 3 look horrific. Right piece of gooseberry fool by the looks of it.

If a game isn't available in that region they just have a substitute. Kalimba has been on GWG for another region before, but I missed it then.

Bound to. It started out as a PS2/Xbox/GC game.

Next time any of you are on the store, could you have a look at the release dates? Mine have all changed to the US date format, which is damn annoying. I don't know if it's because I switched region a couple of times last night to get the free stuff.

Seems to be fine for me. Did you change your language setting as well as location?

No, just location. I'll try switching again, see if it puts it right. Thanks for checking.

I did get a preview dashboard update the other day, so maybe they inadvertently introduced it then.

Got two of the games clean, but the Powergolf game did not work. I will try again and wait for it to install before changing back my location.

The free download on GWG is the 'full unlock' code, you will also need to download the base game from the store which is free.

Thanks MTHL,

I will see if the unlock code has worked, or if I have to retry.

For future reference, this feature has now been added to the preview.
