From all the ones I've played I reckon only Halo is better. Battlefield is just a smidge too laggy to be better imo. I'm not sure Buff has even played TF.

Really? I've come into this cold and I don't see it like that. I'm not sure if the perfume-bad smell analogy actually holds any truth to it but I guess you'd know better than me.

I saw it as quite a clever marketing loophole, to be honest.

I think some people need to just chill and stop getting so worked up about the Sony-Microsoft rivalry. I guess the PS4 owners are bored because they don't have a new IP worth playing whereas Xboners - in Titanfall - have one of the best multiplayer shooters of all time?

Not about the rivalry at all for me. It's interesting to watch MS continue to market themselves worse and worse each time they try. Millions spent and yet they seem to continue to be hopeless. They have no self awareness and have shown it ever since they did the flip-flop last year. It's interesting to see and talk about it. No denying there is a level of clever but it is with a mass of hypocrisy.
The ones getting worked up and trying to make arguments seemed to be the xbox extremists. I explained calmly exactly what the flaw was in their ad, I shouldn't have had to as it is right there. But I got called crazy and had people trying to be snide flat out refusing that MS were making any mistake. No discussion just utter defensive reactions because they're weirdly invested. It is as interesting as the mistakes MS are making.
Now of course there are the PS4 equivalents posting rubbish in here too. Gaf had a good thread as was pointed out, they could point out the flaws and then had fun with it. Of course it eventually turned into the gooseberry fool we got here immeadietly. Seems on here people immeadietly think someone is upset and war breaks out. I agree, people need to chill.

It's probably because the Gaf thread opened with an image and a link to the ad. This conversation started with this.

I think you are legitimately nuts if that's what you really think.

Timed exclusives have happened forever, they'll continue to happen. Some will be for MS and some will be for Sony (and some for Nintendo or whoever else gets involved). That has absolutely nothing to do with this.

MS have obviously got stiffed over the advertising on Destiny if they can't run any ads at all for it, so they've been clever and run an non-ad ad to try and get the word out that Destiny is also available on Xbox. Is the ad amazing? No, it isn't. But that isn't the point.

It is neither a smear campaign against Sony, nor does it make MS look bad in the slightly way at all.

Sure, Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare. Still the best in the series...and better than most online FPS's today (considering Battlefield 4 has gone to gooseberry fool).

Also, I think there's a lot of people that seem to think the shoe has never been on the other foot.

I have a question about the Xbox one. I downloaded the media player preview last week. I hear that the straight media player is out now. But on my console it still has media player preview app. What am i doing wrong?

As for the Xbone - and I might be preaching to the converted but - I love all the little improvements they've made over the 360. The dashboard (is it even called that anymore?) is improved and I like the fact that you can access the full thing even when you're in a game. It's very slickly done.

I love the way the battery is flush with the pad now. I'm also pleased that the headset slots in much more firmly now. On 360 it was way too easy to accidentally pull it out. Having the mute and volume controls at the bottom if the pad also makes a lot of sense. The headset is also of a much higher build quality too.

Great evolutionary changes all 'round.

Can I check purchase history on the console? I can't find the option. If I've been hacked by some 8 year old wanting to play pretend lego then I'll be livid.
