Xbox One Chat - May Xbox Update Available & Introducing the Xbox Adaptive Controller (p289)

May have just dropped £479 on an X with Forza 7, PUBG, Fallout 4, Doom and Assassin's Creed: Origins. :shifty:

Coming tomorrow so looking forward to hooking it up the big TV and seeing how it goes.

Did we have a list of X-Enhanced games somewhere? Looking to see what else I might pick up for it.

I was using others at launch and was getting annoyed that all the games I had were still in development, with the above list you can see what's out now and what's coming shortly. And also what kind of enhancements it is getting (4K/HDR)

Beyond LIVE are EA access and Gamepass generally worth signing up for?

EA access is a no brainer, £2 a month and if want access to decent MS exclusives Gamepass is worth it. First month is free so you can try it out.

This is quite possibly the worst console UI I've ever encountered. It's absolutely appalling. Cluttered, confusing and hard to read. Disgraceful. :fp:

4k is lush as hell though. Assassin's Creed: Origins looks fantastic. Looking forward to trying out Forza later on as well.

Already signed up the one-month Gamepass trial, so we'll see how I get on with that and I'm gonna sign up for EA Access later on I think.

Was nice to see some of my old 360 games show up as compatible. Gonna be playing Perfect Dark tonight.

Rumored leak - Guy who did this a couple of years ago has done it again.-

I see access to some login entry database tables via the Xbox Live API SDK is still possible. That’s insane.

I would love to revisit Albion. Project name could be Wisdom. An UK Studio should do it.

I would love to play around with Ms. Dark again. The Coalition should definitely help if it’s a 3rd person game. I mean ... Not them alone obviously.

I would also love to play the Crackdown 3 campaign in 4-player coop.

I would love playing Forza with the rising sun on the Horizon.

I would love to play AoE4 soon ... But it‘s probably super early.

I would love to have a really high player-count (connections per session) for Xbox biggest franchise.

Oh and I think I‘m sure Phil likes Mechs.

I‘m sure they have things I have no strawberry floating clue about what they mean.

I doubt I get anything for Conker, Banjo or Crimson Skies in the foreseeable future.

Make out of that what you want. I don’t know what is just a prototype etc. I would definitely love to see those things happening though.

More unknown IPs -

It’s difficult to read these contents. But I think I got all the important stuff these last 12 hours. Obviously some project names I have zero clue what they are about. New IP, dead prototypes etc. It’s difficult.

2 Halo Games? -

at least two different and unknown game IDs with Halo found. I have an idea about what they might be, but this is too vague. So I speculate: two different Halo games.

I have no idea what that post means.

-New Fable made by an English studio
-New Perfect Dark game, The Coalition are helping development
-next Forza Horizon is based in China
-AoE4 will launch in game preview
-High player count in the next Halo game
-new game with mechs

Hopefully there will be some all new IPs not just revivals.

New game with Mechs would be good.

Just don't be another online-only arena shooter :dread:

Flabbergasting we haven't really had a decent mech game since Mechwarrior 3.

God I want a new Fable game.
I also want Fable 2 to be released on the PC but despite 1 and 3 being on there it just doesn't seem to be happening.

Only keeping my xbone for Forza Horizon games at this point, so Japan would be wicked.

I bought recore and quantum break recently to increase my justification along with the original xbox games and some back compat stuff. Japan would be ace, although they would need Toyota back as the game would be pointless without the AE86 or Supra to blast round mountain roads or city highways listening to eurobeat.

I'm happy to see Age of Empires get mentioned as I thought it was an odd move to keep such easily ported game a PC exclusive.

I hope they make them a little shorter. I couldn’t get anywhere near completing all the championships in FH2, and I can see the same happening with FH3.

Been playing a bit of Fable II the past few days so I was thinking it would be good to get a new one.

Definitely interested in a new Perfect Dark as well.

My X is pretty much my go-to place for Multiplatform games going forward, so it's nice to see there's potentially some good interesting exclusives coming as well.

Behold the new Sea of Thieves special edition controller for XBO... it looks totally ace! The indented pirate logo glows in the dark and the pad has "laser etched barnacles" as well as a single shiny gold trigger and a translucent deep purple colouring.

MS is doing a terrific job with their custom and limited controller designs.
