If that’s about Crushed colours/Black levels it relates to software and affects the S too. I read that the last major update did it and several people reported it during beta but it was never corrected. I think it affects Samsung and LG screens

Can I just use iPhone headphones/mic? Are there any weird limitations that Microsoft impose?

You can use any headset with a standard 3.5mm jack.

Thanks! This thing is pretty good so far, watched a few 4k movies on it... I did try to play Mirrors Edge (360) but EA have turned the servers off  and Rock Band runs buttery smooth now and loads quickly. This is basically how the console should have been at launch :datass:

Does anyone know if there's a way to remove that intro before the Xbox logo when the device powers up?

Always said that under £1500 would be my biting point for OLED, still expensive but hopefully it'll be worth it and I won't get burn in issues.

Let us know how you get on with that. I'm trying to decide between that or saving £500-600 and going for a Samsung MU7000.

I quite like it when my original Xbox One makes that level of noise. It happens rarely and only for a few seconds, seemingly after it's been doing something intensive, and I like to think of the console catching its breath and cooling down. It's pretty clever, the way it waits for you to quit a game before making a racket.

But all the time would be unbearable.

damn looks good. Going to have to install that this week and get on it while I wait for my other games to get the 4K updates. I'm guessing QB's 4K update is out anyway :slol:

Hang on, that image doesn't look that impressive, am I missing something? The player model looks nice, but the rest just looks standard, not that you can see much else because of all the sun.

Photek is used to playing 8 year old Fallout games. In comparison, this is stunning.

The original Mirror's Edge looks so crisp on the Xbox One X.

QB still looks a little soft to me, but in motion... now that's a different story. So much going on.

Its stunning compared to how the game looks on a standard Xbox, basically it normally the resolution is so low that the image quality is noticeably blurry.
