We’re just one month away from launch! Are you finding that your excitement levels are rising? Will you be there on Day One?

I’m hoping that those GRcadians who are diving in will share a few pics of the arrival of their consoles. Just to help spread the fun across the forum :) .

I'm still super excited. This will be my jumping in point for Xbox this generation so I'll have plenty of exclusives to choose from.

I'm starting with Halo Wars 2 and Forza 7 and I'll take a picture or two of my new machine sat next to my Pro.

Good idea. Will do.

I'm getting new 4K TV and Sky Q at start of next summer, already pre-cleared it with the wife, which is fair enough, she's the one buying me the X1X for my birthday.

I'm very excited, sure I'll be super sampling but hope the games look and run better, especially the back compat, load time increases too.

I cancelled my preorder. I'm happy to wait and see with this. I hope it's good though

Can't afford it right now with the Switch and a Singapore holiday coming up, 2018 though!

Perhaps Microsoft are going for that hyper authentic Spectrum +2 tape feeling with 5 minute load times with random crashes just because.

no excitement as such as I always get the next PS/X console, but I have been holding back on quite a few games with wanting to play them on X.

I posted this in the bargains area but just in case nobody checks there...

If you are after the Xbox One X but don't care about the Scorpio edition of the console then Currys are selling the Xbox One X for the RRP £449.99...

However if you add Halo 5, Quantum Break (and Alan Wake I think) and Forza 7 to the basket you'll get those free at the checkout stage, knocking £139.97 off making it £449.99 for the console and 3-4 games.

Deal ends 13/10/2017

Free Forza 7, Halo 5 & Quantum Break when you pre-order Xbox One X Console
For Home Delivery orders, add all products to your basket and discount will be automatically applied at checkout.
Applicable on product codes 148138, 162227 and 218813.
Please note these products have different release dates so you may receive in multiple deliveries.
Offer ends 13/10/2017.

I've gone for some Quidco on top, maybe that'll track, maybe not.

Xbox One X console with Forza Motorsport 7, Halo 5 Guardians and Quantum Break, all for the same price as the console on its own - £449.99

Seems like a pretty neat deal for folk who want to get an OX. Pre-order at Currys PC World.

Edit: Dang it, BID0! :x ... .

snooze you lose :toot:

I tried getting Amazon to match it, but they've passed it on to their deals team who might take a while to decide. At which point this offer will be over... So naturally, now I have 2 of these things pre-ordered :fp:

If they don't reopen upgrade applications again then I'll probably sell my Kinect for £10 or whatever they're worth these days.

Hopefully it's the last time Microsoft needlessly uses bespoke connections again and is more consumer friendly.

Funnily enough, I just contacted MS about Kinect and they say they don't know yet if they will be offering free adapters.
