I know, right; sure would be a shame to have the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th best TVs of 2017.

Pfft, Sony's A1E OLED is the best TV money can buy!

Lovely! I barely started the Ballad of Gay Tony, so mean to go back. I can't believe the game was released 9 1/2 years ago.

Do any of these games get a frame rate boost or is it all just resolution shite?

From what I've seen pretty much all games get a boost in terms of if they dropped frames before or had dips then it should improve them even without a patch. It won't suddenly make a 30fps game 60 though unless the game is patched to do that.

WWE 2k18 has some horrible slow down in 8 man matches, this has all gone running it on the X though.

Games like rise of the tomb raider, you can choose to play 4k 30fps, upscaled 4k with enhanced graphics 30fps or upscaled 4k with a higher frame rate uptown 60fps..

Started Rise of the TR on high frame rate and survival difficulty, I’ve no idea why this game has a bad rep in this forum, it’s brilliant.

Most games lock to whatever frame rate intended but Gears 4, Hitman, ROTTR and Final Fantasy 15 have option to double framerate up to 60fps.

Bioshock 2 seems to have a major framerate boost. Dark Souls 1 doesn’t tho.

If anyone sees Microsoft doing the Kinect cable thing again let me know. I’m don’t want to be spending any more money on more cable adapters for this console :’(

Origins looks amazing. Frame rate and animation can be choppy but perfectly playable. One of the most impressive games I have ever seen.

Forza is also exceptional and I'll probably buy the full game at some point.

Halo 5 is perhaps more impressive still simply because it's such a massive improvement over the normal version.

I wasn't, however, that impressed with gears of war 4 - I think, perhaps, its implementation of HDR had already given the graphical fidelity a massive boost.

The machine itself is great and really impressive but install times are a nightmare. I barely had an hour to play it yesterday and the 1tb hd won't be big enough.

Cor, I've had a right nightmare with mine. Couldn't get it to install anything.

I did two (2!) factory resets amongst a dozen other things suggested by MS Support, and in the end it just seemed to wake up and start installing without being 100% clear what the cause was.

Transferring games now! Late to the party, but will have some 4k glory soon!

Can't say I've noticed Origins framerate drop but I have cleared the cache twice now (hold X button down till goes off then unplug for a few seconds) just to give it a break as it's been downloading patches and updates non stop since I got it. I think Origins and Rise of a the Tombraider are the 2 lookers even though I play Rise on high framerate. Really like Origins, its unlike other AC games so far. The draw distance, textures and water effects are astonishing.

Final Fantasy high framerate is also class, massive surprise was Ark, high framerate mode looks awful but high detail runs perfect and it looks ridiculous, one of the best looking games I own now.

I can't believe the Xbox One Scorpio Edition is now exclusively available through Amazon Fresh. :fp:

It's Amazon's niche electronics outlet. If you want the latest gadgets, head on over to Amazon Fresh!

I just tried the Doldy Atmos for headphones app and it's amazing.
I'm certainly buying it once my free trial month ends and it's just £14 so not amazingly expensive and I can use my Sony Platinum headphones.
