DPD are saying Gary should be dropping off my N3DS and copy of Xenoblade between 11:49 and 12:49 :D

Still wish they'd done a Xenoblade edition XL mind.
Watch one come out in a month or so now that I've bought a regular one.

Doubt it tbh and the standard models are classy anyway. Although the majoras mask one looks nice, its not a machine i would want for all of my handheld gaming days - the novelty wears off. The black model is just beautiful.

Enjoy the game - will be getting it soon myself as i never really got into the game on the wii.

The 3ds really is my favourite console at the moment - such a vast, high quality back catalogue of superb games.

New 3DS XL arrived :D

ShopTo have randomly included a little felt Majoras Mask pouch with a mask chain of some kind inside it.

I forgot to say, the music in Alcamoth is amazing! It definitely made exploring the big city more enjoyable.

That moment when you reach the top of the city and basically look down over everything. :o :datass:

It reminds me of Cloud City from The Empire Strikes Back  :datass:

I still don't know how the Wii, i.e. GameCube 1.5., managed to run this.

I'm going to focus solely on the main quest now and skip side-quests so that my team doesn't get too overpowered. I realised in the High Entia Tomb that, even though I enjoyed the battles up to the boss, the final battle was even better because I wasn't steamrolling the opposition. If any veterans would like to recommend side-quests that I should complete, feel free to do so.

DAT view. :datass: Proper holy gooseberry fool moment in the game for me that was. Thing is. You've still got sooo much to do.

I can barely remember the side quests (so many) but I do think you should take the time to do most of them. There will be a point in the game where some vanish and you wont be able to complete them. Its ages away yet. I found that it was relatively easy to just stock up on side quests and find yourself completing them alongside other things by accident.

I didn't know the New 3DS was that powerful.

I thought that Gaur Plain would be the peak of the game. Never have I been so wrong.

I'm still going to explore and speak to people to pick up side-quests to autocomplete but I won't go out of my way to finish them unless they're epics like Anju and Kafei. Someone's kid in Alcamoth is lost so I might do that but I'm not going to go back to Eryth Sea to hunt normal monsters. I might go looking for mid-bosses around there though. I should look that up.

My uncle works for Nintendo so I've got a New Super 3DS Turbo HD Remix II.

The Fallen Arm probably has my favourite view in the game. I can't remember if that's before Alcamoth or not.

I thought Dragon had already finished the game. :o

Valak Mountain at night is the GOAT. Can't remember when you get there though.

It's still my first time but I'm excited to see the rest of the game if there are areas that are better than Gaur Plain and Alcamoth. I'm just about to land on Prison Island.

Don't worry about it. You put it in tags so I didn't read it and then, after reading TWArio's post, I decided to control my curiosity :P

I played some more last night and I'm now back at Makna Forest. As for Prison Island:
Fiora! :o
Zanza :( then  because Alvis

30 minutes into this and I'm not feeling it, it's certainly not a typical game genre that I play and there seems to be a lot of mechanics to it, can anyone give me some helpful tips/ encouragement to help me stick with it as I'm feeling quite overwhelmed currently...

Don't be afraid to look at the tutorial screens in the menu (press X to bring up the menu) and familiarise yourself with the mechanics. It can get overwhelming at times but referring back to that does help.
