I'm about 8 blades short of unlocking them all, still haven't got Wulfric back yet :x I'm going to have to stop playing again for a while, it's just all consuming.

What a strawberry floating game.

but wulfric's part of the story it seems very odd that you dont have him

I had him but I didn't like the driver he was initially on so I thought I'd be a smart arse and release him. According to the interwebs released drivers go back into the pot and you can gacha them again (at some point). Not happened yet though.

I'm enjoying the story missions on this but my goodness nearly all of the side quests are terrible, just go here collect item and return. I actually end up just googling for the items location just to speed things up.

Some of the blade quests are good but really only for the cut scenes.

There’s some interesting side quests but a lot are repetitive yeah.

Blade quests, as mentioned above, are a lot more interesting. Except for Ursula’s, or as I like to call it, the worst side quest in video game history.

That's the only reason I'm doing them, for the extra and easy exp!

Think I'm doing a blade side quest now, to do with her aging driver in the Gormett region (think I've spelt it right). It's better than most so far.

Gormott, and yeah, without giving too much away, that one is definitely worth doing.

They're speed running this on that RPG Limit Break event on Twitch at the moment, with an estimate of 6 hours and 20 minutes. Seems insane. Curious to see how it's done, so many of these speed runs have been ingenious.

6 hours and 20 mins seems very quick, wonder how close they'll get.

Can you skip cut scenes then? Because there’s no way you can do it in 6 hours 20 with cut scenes? Or are they not counting them?

They're skippable. They must have patched in an option to skip Blade Awakenings too, which wasn't there when I played it last.

The guy running it seems to be from the UK. He skipped a section by clipping through a wall. Always really interests me how people find this stuff. There's a couple of bosses he didn't kill on a special or combo though, so he might be under-levelled. I am curious how he's going to meet some of the higher skill requirement sections later on. There's the odd boss in particular I'm a little confounded how he'll be able to manage too. Sadly I'll miss the end, going out soon. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up on YT or something.

They patched in skipping the blade awakening animation a few months ago.

Yeah, they patched in skipping the blade opening in 1.3 as an option. I wasn’t aware you could skip cut scenes though, not that I’d want to but still.

I appear to have just been stabbed in the back. There's a lot of cut scenes in this
