I was actually interested in this from the trailer and other than zelda I'm not much of an rpg fan but this intrigued me.

This looks great but I've not completed Xenoblade Chronicles, or Xenoblade Chronicles X yet so I'm not in any huge rush for this to come out

I'd love it if there was a HD port of the first game too

Nick, if you're maintaining the thread, can we maybe put [Switch] in the title? I've been doing that on all my threads to make them easier to search for.

I was hoping Xenoblade Chronicles X would be ported to the Switch and never expected an all-new game quite so soon. This is already my second most looked forward to game after Zelda.

I believe the rumour was that Monolith Soft were making a new game (presumably this) whilst someone else ports X. So it might still happen but you would expect the port to happen first.

There's no way this game is coming out in 2017. Footage looked early. It didn't seem to run very well.

So excited for this though.

It looked great to me so I'm optimistic that we'll get it this year.

Xenoblade on Wii is one of my all time favourite games. So pleased this is coming to Switch and is going to be playable in handheld form. I didn't really get on with X as much, so I hope the combat and story style goes back to the original's.

Considering the game was shown at a Japanese conference I think the 2017 is the Japanese release. We'll likely get it in 2018.

All the presentation screens were localised to the specific regions.

I hope there's more awesome cutscenes in this one. X had very few, and it was the thing I thought Xenoblade did very well.

Some of the cutscenes from Xenoblade were jaw dropping. Usually involving Dunban.
