The Limited Edition has dropped again on Amazon (originally £69.99 then went up to £79.99) and now it's £62.99! If you have Prime it's £60.99!

Couldn't believe it when I spotted the drop in my order history, but most will still probably find it too expensive. It's the 220 page Artbook I'm looking forward to.

There was the fashion gear option to wear whatever look you wanted with the same stats as the actual gear.

The music and world look amazing. It's the character design and fight system I'm still not sold on. Really not my thing but I'm getting more and more tempted by it.

Definitely, Tom... I do think it looks cool but I, too, am just a wee bit apprehensive about how complex the gameplay mechanisms are. I would like to dive in, though.

I've grown to rather like the adults in it. But I find the younger ones odd next to them. In this world do peoples eyes get smaller as they grow? The chap with glasses though.

Not sure how I feel about some of the ladies in it. :shifty:

Enjoy it you lot.

Aye, supposed to be out on Friday.

Ordered from SimplyGames, they delivered Mario Odyssey a couple of days early too.

Does anyone anticipate the price of this going up once it's been released? Game have it for £42 but I'm wondering whether that's just a pre-order price given most of the Switch games are currently £49.99. I've got some credit burning a hole and am tempted even though I'm not getting the console until Christmas.

I wouldn’t be surprised, just make sure that you are getting a switch.

It might be better to wait to see if there are better bundles, but the likelihood of that is low!

I’ve watched some youtube videos on this and it looks like the big rpg we all wanted after the amazing zelda botw. The only thing i am worried about is whether i will enjoy the battle system. I generally prefer zelda type combat rather than turned based of command based combat.

I've already got the Switch as I got one of the Mario bundles on Black Friday but it's whether it's worth getting something that I won't realistically play until after Mario and probably Stardew Valley (though that'll be a long burn sort of game) and Golf Story. And maybe Zelda if I can get a reasonably priced copy.

Well zelda has to come first, so i would wait. I doubt the price will be reduced significantly, but you might as well wait.

Reviews are out and the overall picture appears to be positive; 85 on Metacritic after 36 reviews.
