Ouch. It was only £40 when I was looking at it the other day. You should be able to play it on day one with the digital version but I'm going for day minus two :toot:

My pre-order was with ShopTo, Dragon. I've just realised that the eShop version will be fifty quid. Ouch... I may not go for it on Day One.

I'm hoping someone like GAME will be selling codes cheaper then that.

:fp: I skimread jawa's post and thought that ShopTo had increased its price to £50. Smash Bros and Mario Kart retail for £50 but I managed to get them for less than £40 from CDkeys.com so hopefully it will be possible to buy it from there again. There are few games that I'd buy at full price given that so many great games come out so often but X is definitely one of them :toot:

I preordered from The Game Collection. They already took the money via PayPal. So hopefully it goes through okay.

They were good for my Splatoon.

If the last game is anything to go by then this could quietly end up being the most absorbing game this year. This'll do me for the Xmas month I think.

Honestly, I bought the original game to show my support most of all. I heard it was good from various outlets so it seemed like a good purchase.

It was certainly more than what I expected. A very imaginative game from the very start, that used aged hardware in a impressive way. I went on a bit of sabbatical from playing JRPG's, but this brought me right back.

It was a real surprise, one of those games that seemed to come out of nowhere for me. Real gem.

I don't think Nintendo bothered to show Xenoblade off during development in the West, which is why it just seemed to come out of no where. This time though because of how successful it was there has been an audience hungry to see what Monolith Soft have been doing.

Mentioned during the Smash stream earlier that it looks like I'm getting this for Christmas. Better be good!

It also means you can probably look forward to some Co-Op streams and videos from Dragon, Pedz, TWA and myself in the coming months.

I have 0problem playing co-op, but how will it work if other people crack on with the story and we end up at different points?

I think the co-op missions are separate. I'm sure I heard it gave you special monsters to tackle etc.

... :o .

I'm so tempted to dive in. I've gone a bit crazy with gaming over the past month, but I do want to play this.

What's the download size of the eShop version? Does that one include those data downloads?
