The scale is truly magnificent. I agree that the textures don't look amazing but, when combined with the scale, it makes for some truly awesome vistas. Let's not forget the music which wonderful.

I wonder how Monolith Soft does financially. It can't be cheap to make such a huge game and it seems like a niche title which is a shame because Xenoblade was incredible and X looks to be even better.

Xenoblade was deemed a success so I'm guessing it turned a profit. But remember they have been doing lots of extra work with other games. Skyward Sword being one.

It looks a lot like Xenoblade visually. If you look really close you'll see not all the detail is there but the immense scale just makes up for it. I thought some of the other characters looked really good, even if not amazeballs technically.

I'm a bit worried about the amount of vocal songs in the game personally. My least fav piece in the whole of Xenoblade was the actual song. But I'll wait to see the context of it all before judging. Only other concern is the story but they are probably keeping it secret.

Is anybody expecting this to sell well in Japan? The original Xenoblade Chronicles sold less than 200K in that country, with a much bigger available audience.

They seem to be pushing this one more. Whether it will sell 200 thousand is another thing.

I've yet to see any of the new media for this. Looking forward to it.

Just cannot wait for this game. I don't care if every other game this year is cancelled, if this one makes it by end of year.

What do we think of the graphics? Has there been a downgrade since the first videos were shown? Is it somewhere between PS3/360 and PS4/One? Personally I think the character models look distinctly last gen (just sayin'), but the textures on the environments are much more advanced.

For me, It kept improving every time they showed it. I don't mind the faces now, although whenever I first saw the girl (Lyn?) I thought she looked terrible. I'm used to the style now.

I'm slightly concerned about the music however. The last video had some really sugary J Pop tracks that didn't gel with me. I haven't watched the entire thing yet. I loved the other stuff previewed before that though.

All it's ever done is improve in my eyes. Personally its Elma who bothers me visually. Given how much she seems to guide you I think she could look better. Some of the males in the last vid look good. Simple but it works. Also think the other races have an almost Star Wars feel to them.

Apparently there are 20 different voice options for your custom character. 10 for each gender. A few short vids including hair for your avatar and NLA at night-
