Got around to wrapping some presents today. Had to spend half the time trying to distract the kitten from A) pulling every reachable ornament off the tree or B) ripping the paper to shreds. He is equal parts adorable and pain in the ass.

Oh, and check this gooseberry fool out:

That my friends is a work of art. A thing of beauty. Please remember it when you contemplate inferior, less Christmassy trees.

Today they were playing a Christmas Carol (the new CGI Disney version with Jim Carey as Scrooge), and National Lampoons Christmas vacation on TV. I watched them both and they were great, now I just need to watch Die Hard, and my all time favourite Christmas movie, It's a Wonderful Life to truly get into the spirit.

I've been rather neglectful of Christmas telly this year. Just watched Frosty the Snowman today. Gonna have to find time to watch Rudolph, A Christmas Story, A Christmas Carol, The Snowman, and The Grinch this week.

Got drafted to the female ward yesterday. We made Christmas tree brownies, hot chocolate with whippy cream and marshmallows and watched the grinch. Delightful.

Still haven't made my Christmas cake :dread:

Wrapped up my presents....look really pitiful (one is a mid-price Soundbar for parents)

Might wrap up some big cheaper stuff so I don't look like a gringe.

Hate wrapping presents. I need to do that at some point this week.

I keep having the feeling I'm forgetting someone for my gifts.

The only thing wrong with Home Alone 2 is the two films that followed are garbage.
