Jealous! I remember you reccomending that burrito place when I went. Dat schnitzel too :datass:

I’m going with a vegan. Luckily she lives off select beer and glucose tablets so I’ll be getting ma burrito. Maybe they’ll have a Christmas one.

I'm imagining a spicy minced pie filling in a sugary wrap.

When I was in Aus they had these Heston mince pies at one of the big supermarkets, similar but better to the ones Waitrose did a while back. I realise now that eating them was a mistake as everything else tastes like a hollow facsimile of them.

Still, going to do some a la maison at the weekend. It's last year's mincemeat so if I suddenly stop posting everyone knows why.*

I thought Twitter’s Christmas ad this year was pretty clever and surprising, though it’ll go over some people’s heads if you’re not familiar with the site and in on the joke already.

Starting to think I should look into actually making and patenting the idea, but I'm lazy and ignorant so someone else will get there first.

Do it. I'll buy them :datass:

A house on the way back home has gone full Christmas already - the entire thing is covered top to bottom in lights :dread:

Picked up our Xmas tree today. We're going artificial for the first time - we've had a run of about a few bad real ones, so decided to take the low-maintenance route. Might have to get a Christmas tree scented plug-in, though.

It's snowing here in Halesowen as well. No chance it'll be sticking to the ground any time soon, but if it keeps up there's a chance it will.

Berlin was wonderful. Found a small Christmas market at Potsdammer Platz. Threw ourselves down a dry ski slope in rubber rings and drank mulled wine as it started snowing. Bought lots of Christmas snacks to take home too.

My Mrs made the Christmas cake this morning and made a couple of cupcake sized ones out of the mixture. Bloody lovely
