Posted by Sarge the other day in the XBLM thread, 'The Unfinished Swan':

This one's called 'Blow':

Also, here's a link to the Creators Club website:

AWESOME!

Been a long time coming, and it's finally drawing near to the day. I was wondering whether they'd just canned the idea of it. I can't wait to sample some community games.

This has huge potential, it will be great to see what can be delivered by a new generation of bedroom coders.

We're never going to get some sequels to great games, so I'm fully expecting a Super Smash Brothers clone in the future on the 360, or a Jet Force Jemini type clone.

Fairly sure that's an XBLA game now. But next year sometime I'd imagine.

Correct, but I'm pretty sure it will be coming out this year.

I've played it and loved it. Easily the best XNA demo from earlier this year.

Perhaps it did but it was incredibly fun to actually play. Better not be horribly overpriced when it comes out.

They've added some QTE sections since then, namely with a guitar...it probably fits in with the story, but looked incredibly boring/crap.

XNA creators will be able to choose from three possible price points for their games: 200 ($2.50), 400 ($5.00), or 800 ($10.00) Microsoft Points, only the lowest of which is less than the price of a regular Xbox Live Arcade download. 200 point games will face a size restriction of 50MB, while 400 and 800 point games can bulk up to as big as 150MB.

I'm fairly sure some of you on this forum were studying coding for XNA. Is anyone involved in a project on XNA?

Two "just for fun" projects - one with programmer ( ) graphics and the other with proper graphics that some friends are doing for me. I haven't tried porting anything onto a 360 as I don't own one yet. I just have a 360 controller plugged into my PC. It all seems pretty straightforward; C# is a doddle if you're used to C, C++ or Java. The biggest learning curve for me will be the shader stuff as I have no experience of that. The last games I coded professionally were on GBA so the leap in technology is rather large!

Like fishy said it's hard finding the time and progress is sloooooooow, but it's nice to code games as a hobby again.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.
