strawberry floating hell, I'm about 3 hours in and I still feel like I'm in the tutorial.

Does it get more interactive than this as it seems to be 80% cutscene, 20% brawler (just started Chapter 2)?

Its a massive game so takes its time introducing all of its systems, but it does open up eventually.

It opens up mid-way through chapter 2 and you can go do some sidequests.

Finished the hostess club which has been fantastic. Now on chapter 14

Not as keen on the estate agent missions

Also wasn’t a fan of
protecting Makato and the car chase, mainly because of the controls

I did love chapter 12 Den of Desires though.

Estate agent stuff is definitely the lesser of the two management mini games, but I still found it pretty entertaining. Though running around looking for the right property was annoying af. On the other hand, getting the property managers (?) was quite entertaining.

Mid-way through chapter 2 and a few sidequests in. It's definitely a strange one! Stumbled across the Dominatrix, underwear seller and movie producer quests, all of which made me laugh at least once.

I also love how Kuze has the face of a mid 50's beer-bellied alcoholic and the body of a 25 year old kickboxer. It was a very 'skinny Steve Rogers' moment when he whipped his shirt off.

EDIT: I strawberry floating knew I recognised Kuze:

This strawberry floating game - this evening the complex web of intrigue with Majima developed further, immediately after which I saved a girl from a japanese Scientology cult and then talked to a guy about government tax policy. It blends the serious and surreal almost perfectly, with Majima and Kiryu playing the straight guys to these weird situations and it is the contrast between the two which makes it so entertaining - i haven't laughed while playing a game, certainly not an "open world" game like this for a long time.

btw everyone follow@yakuzanocontext if you aren't already.
Yakuza is a very serious game about diving into the criminal underworld of Japan.

There's a few tutorial videos for this on YouTube that I used. Easiest way seems to be to pick a heavier ball, throw from either the far left or far right and add maximum spin.

Have found myself completely distracted with the cabaret club, spending pretty much all my time running that place now.

Finding this quite tough. Only completed chapter one but really struggled with some of the fights.

Any fighting tips?
